[Pernah dengar nama BRAHIM?? Kenapa BRAHIM????........ by Dr Nazri Khan]
Buy this great stock. Out of 927 listed stocks in Bursa Malaysia, I believe this local stock is the most promising and may explode 100% within two years. It is not as crazy as it sounds.
Just like Sapura Kencana and Power Root (our best call last year with a gain of 100%), the reason I am confident with this stock is that there is huge earning and sales visibility into their operations. The company business model is pretty straightforward, sales highly predictable & profit steady. Both fundamentals and technicals are convergingly positive. Although dividends are virtually zero, the company rate of expansion are impressive over the last three years.
This stock is called Brahim Holding Berhad (Stock Code : 9474). Latest price is RM2.21.
It is Malaysia’s leading halal in-flight catering company which is owned by Brahim International Franchise, Tabung Haji and Koperasi Permodalan Felda. It provides catering and operates a portfolio of fast food and casual dining restaurants in KLIA and LCCT.
Five quick catalyst why I expect Brahim to run up :
1. Brahim is the leading global halal food player with international halal industry growing 20% a year. There are approximately 1.6 billion Muslims worldwide, more than 20% of the world's population, and air travel demand between USA/Europe/Japan and Islamic countries is projected to increase exponentially. Being the operator of the world’s largest halal flight kitchen, Brahim will get massive opportunities to be third party halal food caterers outside Malaysia.
2. 2014 will be Visit Malaysia Year and 2015 will be declared Malaysia Festival Year. Islamic Tourist should easily swell 30% a year from 5 million last year to 10 million by end 2015. Brahim sales therefore should easily doubled and so does the share price.
3. The opening of KLIA2 will bring at least 10 new airlines and should explode growth of airport passenger traffic. Assuming 10% increase of passenger, Brahim earnings should compound 30% every year.
4. Brahim has a strong political connection with Datuk Ibrahim Ahmad Badawi being the Executive Chairman and majority shareholder of the company. Frankly, this should give extra bullets to Brahim in Malaysia Boleh business world.
5. Finally, the aggressive effort by PM and Government to make Malaysia as the Islamic Economic Capital of the world should strongly support Brahim business model. This mean having a respectable Islamic Banking Hub, Islamic Consumer Products Hub & Islamic Halal Food Hub. If this become a reality, expect Brahim to be easily the global halal F&B giant by 2020.
Just my humble view. Buy Brahim on dips. Hold two years. No contra. Use Affin Trade. Gud luck

Allen Iverson made the most of the wide-open look Andre Iguodala never gave Kobe Bryant.
Iverson outplayed Bryant in an anticipated matchup of the league's leading scorers, scoring 34 points and sinking the winner with 22.2 seconds left to lead the 76ers to an 85-81 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.
Iverson -- stumbling in the fourth quarter after he missed an easy layup, two free throws and was whistled for traveling -- stepped just inside the 3-point arc and buried a jumper in the final seconds for an 83-81 lead.
Bryant missed a jumper over Iguodala with about 5 seconds left, and Iverson made two free throws to seal Philadelphia's third straight win after losing its first three.
Kyle Korver and John Salmons each hit critical 3-pointers in the final 2½ minutes to pad the Sixers' lead, but it wasn't enough once Bryant finally got going.
Unable to find his shot all game against Iguodala's sticky D, Bryant came through in the final minute with a three-point play and then another basket with 37.8 seconds left to rally the Lakers and tie the score at 81.
But Iverson made up for a small stretch of miscues that nearly cost the Sixers, hitting a jumper that sent the crowd into a frenzy.
"Once they made one breakdown, they left me open and I got a good look at it," Iverson said.
Bryant came in averaging a league-high 34.8 points, but was held in check by Iguodala on 7-for-27 shooting.
"That's something we expect from Dre every night," Iverson said. "We know he has the ability to shut people down."
Chris Mihm picked up the slack inside with 20 points, and Lamar Odom added 16.
Iverson -- second in the league behind Bryant with 29.8 points -- fired up the Sixers and started a rally late in the fourth when he was challenged on his way to the basket.
After a rare miss on an uncontested fastbreak layup on the previous possession, Iverson was staggered on a hard foul the next time down by Sasha Vujacic. Vujacic threw his arm back and connected with Iverson in the neck, sending the feisty All-Star into a fit. He needed to be restrained from a possible fight.
Both players were whistled for technicals, so Iverson attempted only two free throws for the shot, and he paced around the court, agitated, before going to the line.
After he sank the first one, he turned to his left and glared at Vujacic. He hit the second to pull the Sixers to 69-66.
Iverson added two more free throws the next time down and Chris Webber followed with a spin move to give the Sixers a 70-69 lead.
But Iverson missed two free throws with the Sixers holding a 78-74 lead and traveled with 52 seconds left, allowing Bryant to make the game-tying running jumper.
Bryant missed his first eight shots before going up-and-under for his first bucket late in the second quarter. Bryant added another before the halftime buzzer to give the Lakers a 46-42 lead.
He was stifled in the first half (3-for-14) by Iguodala.
"That was a game I was forced to take a lot of shots with a hand in my face," Bryant said.
Iguodala might have concentrated too much on defense, because he was a non-factor offensively until his baseline jumper gave the Sixers a 73-71 lead. Iguodala made another timely play when Bryant was hit with an offensive foul for pushing off on the next possession.
Iguodala scored five points, but he finished with 11 rebounds.
"I had some shots I should have made," Bryant said. "We had difficulty down the stretch. We weren't able to capitalize on some makable shots."
While Bryant struggled, the Lakers relied on Mihm. The 7-foot center with the meager 6.8 points per average played outstanding, shooting 8-for-12 from the floor and finishing with nine rebounds.

Allen Iverson had every reason to feel good after his performance kept Philadelphia close to the division lead.
Surely the mood changed when the Sixers All-Star found out he was injured.
Iverson outperformed Kobe Bryant, scoring 36 points and leading a decisive third-quarter run in the 76ers' 108-91 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.
Iverson helped pull the Sixers (31-33) to four games of Boston for first place in the Atlantic Division.
``It made me feel good,'' Iverson said. ``Any win makes me feel good.''
Iverson, though, chipped a bone in his left thumb sometime in the second half and will be fitted for a cast. He is day-to-day. The Sixers said Iverson will be re-evaluated Friday when they play again at Cleveland.
Iverson left the arena before the injury was announced.
The Sixers certainly need the league's leading scorer if they're going to make any kind of run at the Celtics.
``We would like to have that (winning) streak right now,'' said Iverson, before he knew the X-ray results.
Andre Iguodala scored 15 points for the Sixers, adding a few more spectacular dunks, including an alley-oop where he came crashing down on Jumaine Jones. Kyle Korver had 14.
Bryant -- who came in trailing Iverson by nearly two points in the league scoring race -- led the Lakers with 20 points, but had little help. The Lakers (32-31) fell out of the eighth and final spot in the Western Conference.
Bryant made five of nine shots in the first quarter, but went 1-for-6 the rest of the game.
``We've got to get more people involved,'' Bryant said. ``They were doubling me and the shots weren't falling.''
Iguodala had plenty to do with that. The Sixers rookie kept a hand in Bryant's face most of the game and aggressively contested his shots. Iguodala said he watched plenty of tape to prepare for one of his toughest assignments.
``I knew if I kept my hands up and kept nagging him a little bit that I could make him take a tougher shot,'' Iguodala said.
Bryant scored 16 points in the first quarter and Iverson had 14 as the two seemed poised for a one-on-one showdown between All-Stars. But Bryant slowed down, thanks largely to the sticky defense by Iguodala, while Iverson kept driving and crashing.
Iverson scored 14 points during a 26-9 run in the third quarter by doing what he does best -- drive the lane, look for the layup and get to the line. When he couldn't do that, Iverson would dribble around the perimeter until he found an open look.
He took six of Philadelphia's 16 shots in the third (making three) and went 7-for-7 from the line. Overall, Iverson went 14-for-15 from the line and 10-for-22 from the floor.
On one fallaway layup from the right side, Iverson was fouled by Chucky Atkins. Atkins bitterly complained and was hit with two quick technicals and ejected from the game.
Korver sank the two free throws for a 66-50 lead. Rodney Rogers hit a 3-pointer near the end of the third, giving Philadelphia a 28-point lead.
Chris Webber again was a non-factor for the Sixers. He scored Philly's first two baskets of the game, sat out 5 minutes of the second quarter and missed his last six shots for five points.
Webber remained baffled as to why he has looked little like the five-time All-Star he was in Sacramento. Of course, watching Iverson take a bulk of the shots and not having coach Jim O'Brien call plays for Webber might have something do with his struggles.
``I don't want to put my finger on it,'' Webber said. ``It's not because it's late in the season. I didn't become this player in one day.''

Carmelo Anthony found his rhythm just in time for the Denver Nuggets.
Anthony scored 15 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter, including a three-point play with 38.4 seconds left, to lift the Nuggets to a 105-99 win over the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday night.
Allen Iverson had 22 points and 11 assists and Marcus Camby had 14 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks for the Nuggets, who won their third straight and fifth in the last six.
Anthony, who has struggled with his shot over the last week, was 3-for-17 early but was 7-for-11 down the stretch.
"I've been trying to get my rhythm back on my shot," Anthony said. "I thought my shots tonight were good, they just weren't going in."
That was the case in his previous three games, when he was 24-for-69 from the field.
"I know it was frustrating for him in the beginning because he couldn't catch a rhythm," Iverson said. "He was getting beat up on some plays and they weren't calling it. It says a lot about him to stay with it and keep playing."
Anthony scored 12 of Denver's last 14 points to help the Nuggets pull away. His two free throws gave Denver the lead at 93-92, and he hit three straight shots to make it 99-96.
Chris Paul, who had 30 points and 12 assists, made a 3-pointer to tie it at 99, but Camby's tip-in with 1:41 left made it 101-99. Anthony then made a layup and a free throw to seal the game.
"The last rebound that Marcus tipped in, we did a good job on the defensive end, and we had two guys there, but somehow he got it and put it in," Hornets coach Byron Scott said. "That was a great play on his part, bad play on our part."
Anthony said he attacked the basket the whole game but the shots weren't falling. In the fourth, he was 5-for-8 and seven of his points came when he went to the basket.
"In the fourth quarter, I made it my priority and forced the refs to give me some calls," said Anthony, who was 11-for-13 from the line.
The Nuggets where happy with their defense in the fourth, when they held the Hornets to 33.3 percent shooting in the fourth quarter and outscored them 28-18.
"I think it's one of our best games of the year, to not play offensively and still score 105 and win a game with a defensive dimension down the stretch," Nuggets coach George Karl said.
The Nuggets trailed 86-80 when Iverson converted a three-point play and Anthony and Eduardo Najera made consecutive 3-pointers to give Denver an 89-86 lead.
"In the fourth quarter, they had more intensity," said Paul, who has 10 double-doubles this season. "We matched it for the most part, but for the last five minutes or so, we couldn't' contain them. I think it was more their defense."
The Nuggets' defense came alive late in the first half. Denver trailed 59-45 with 41.9 seconds left in the second quarter before surging. Najera made a jumper and Anthony's put-back dunk with 35.9 left in the second ignited a Nuggets run that reached 15-0 with 9:17 left in the third. Butler ended the drought with a layup, and David West scored six of his 25 points to make it 71-62 with 6:34 left in the third.
"At the end of the first half we started to show some life, and the energy level was high. We carried it on to the second half," Iverson said.
Paul and Butler did most of the damage in the first half. Paul had 19 points and seven assists and Butler had 14. Butler, who was 4-for-21 from 3-point range since Nov. 16, was 4-for-4 from long range in the first half.
