我終於成功找到瑞穗林道上的湖泊，這是我過去一年來一直試圖去做的事。我第一次嘗試是開我的車，但在陡上爬高時引擎有過熱問題；第二次是遇到颱風。這一次Volvo借給我他們的V90CC，即使是傾盆大雨，我們仍然開到林道上方，我們度過了愉快的時光。

這條路非常陡峭，前半段路況非常糟糕。一旦你通過一路陡上的路段後，之後的林道就會變得平坦通過大面積的絲柏樹森林，行駛也變得容易。如果你持續開在這條主幹道，你不會有任何重大問題。然而，這附近有許多分岔小路，這些路況需要厲害的四輪驅動，以及一個有高底盤的越野車。我對V90CC處理這些道路的方式印象深刻，特別是因為條件不理想的路段......它非常潮濕和泥濘。我想這就是今年夏天的情況~幾乎每天都在下雨。

即使在豪大雨中，這座山也是如此美麗，我很高興我去了。我們成功地找到了湖泊，並確認它們確實在那裡（有時衛星照片可能會產生誤導），但我仍然想再回去探索更多。但這是一個很硬的駕駛路線，所以希望Volvo能再次借給我V90CC，這樣我就可以再去一次了。

在這條林道的起點，在你過河之前是我最喜歡的露營地之一。這是我在這個影片中放帳篷的地方，也是野營的一個非常好的地方。我常常在環島上旅行中在那裡停留搭營。我喜歡這裡，因為它非常安靜，靠近河邊，還有一個小地方可以游泳，且距離便利店和餐館只有10分鐘的路程。我將在底下放上GPS坐標。

I finally made it to the lakes up on ruisui lindao, which I had been trying to get to for over a year now. The first time I tried my car overheated and the second time there was a typhoon. This time Volvo lent me their V90CC and even though it was raining like crazy, we still go to the top and we had a good time.

This road is really steep, and the first half is in quite bad shape. Once you get high up though, the road flattens out and it because a wonderful nice drive through a cypress forest. If you stick to this main road, you shouldn’t have any major problems. However, there are many side roads, and these require serious 4WD driving, and a car with a lot of ground clearance. I was impressed with the way the V90CC handled these roads, especially since the conditions were not ideal… it was very wet and muddy. I think that’s just how it’s going to be this summer. It seems to be raining almost every day.

The mountain is so beautiful though, even in the pouring rain. I am very glad I went. We successfully made it to the lakes and confirmed that they are really there (sometimes the satellite photos can be misleading), but I still want to go back again and explore more. It’s a hard drive though, so hopefully Volvo will lend me the V90CC again so that I can have another go.

At the beginning of this road, before you cross the river is one of my favorite camping spots. It’s the spot where I set up the tent in this video, and a very nice place to wild camp. I often stop there on my road trips around the island. I like it because it’s quite and peaceful, next to the river, and with a small place to swim, but still only 10 minutes away from convenience stores and restaurants. I’ve posted the GPS coordinates below.

今天我們要去拜訪，台灣最大的高山湖泊！
Today we’re going to visit Taiwan’s biggest mountain lake!

2016-2017 Episode 40 Taipingshan Nature Tour/太平山森林之旅

在3萬6千平方公里的台灣土地上，就有268座、超過3000公尺以上的高峰，這樣的密度，在世界上可以說是數一數二。
With an area of around 36,000 square kilometers, Taiwan is a mountainous island that boasts 268 mountains over 3000 meters high. It’s been said that the density of high mountain peaks here is second to nowhere else in the world.

因為我們是觀光客，不是登山客，所以今天要去的太平山，矮了一點點，大概只有1950公尺。
Because we’re tourists, not hikers, the place we’re going today is Taipingshan, which is a bit shorter than some of the others at about 1950 meters.

太平山以前是台灣的三大林場之一，伐木工人在這條中央階梯附近，形成了一個林業聚落，行走在這裡的人，在當年，是為了生活，而現在，則是為了賞楓。
Taipingshan used to be one of Taiwan’s three major logging centers. Lumberjacks used to live around these central stairs in what was a small village. Back then, those who walked along here came for work. Now, they come to admire the maple trees.

即使是夏天，在這裡還是能欣賞到楓紅，實在是太棒了
Even in summer, you can see red maple leaves here. It’s so amazing!

夏天來台灣到太平山熱門的行程之一，就是觀賞紫葉槭，一年四季中，春、夏、秋這三季，都能欣賞到這令人讚嘆的美景。
It’s popular in Taiwan to come to Taipingshan in summer to look at the purple-leaf maple, whose leaves have a deep red color throughout spring, summer, and fall. It’s a beautiful sight!

418個階梯只是暖身，接下來我們要前進翠峰湖了！
These 418 steps are just a warm-up! Next up is Cueifong Lake!

翠峰湖位於太平山和大元山之間，想要親眼看到這個美麗的湖泊，有四條登山健行步道可以選擇，今天我們要挑戰的是，距離最長的環山步道。
Cueifong Lake is located between Taipingshan and Tayuan Mountain. If you want to see this beautiful lake with your own eyes, there are four different hiking trails you can choose to get there. The one I’m taking today is also the longest one, the circular trail.

環山步道全長大約3.9公里，這條步道大部份都是利用以前運送木材的軌道、整建而成，降低對生態的破壞
The circular trail is 3.9 kilometers long, and was mostly built along the route of an old logging railroad line in order to better preserve the surrounding environment.

整條步道設置了好幾個觀景台，讓你從不同的角度欣賞湖景，你看～是不是很美...
There are several sightseeing spots along the trail that give you a different angle on the lake. Isn’t it beautiful?

翠峰湖就是像隱匿於群山中的綠寶石，置身其中就像是時空停止般，只剩下自己 還有翠峰湖
Cueifong Lake is like an emerald hidden among the mountains. It feels like time stops and everything else fades away when you gaze upon the water.

好想再看久一點哦，但是我們還有一半的路要走...
I really want to stay longer, but we still have half of the trail to go…

步道的後半段，還有令人大開眼界的地理景觀，聳天的檜木林有著茂密苔原，這裡稱為奧陶紀苔原區，即使不是植物學家，光聽名字，也知道它們的珍貴性。
On the second half of the trail, there is another special sight. Lush cypress trees stretch skyward, in one of the old-growth forests that make up what is called an Ordovician tundra biome. Even if you’re not a botanist, you can guess from the name just how valuable these trees are.

除了珍貴的苔原景觀之外，這裡隨時都有想像不到的驚喜出現，翠峰湖豐富的自然生態，隨時都會讓人停下腳步...
Beside the cypress tree biome, there are all sorts of unimaginable surprises waiting for you along the circular trail. The rich environment around Cueifong Lake will frequently stop you in your tracks.

一路走走停停，要數小時才能走完近4公里的步道，終點還有著離湖最近的觀景台。
When you’re stopping and starting, it can take several hours to cover nearly 4 kilometers. This viewing platform near the end is the closest to the lake itself

Fun Factoid: Did you know that the forests found at the 2,500 metre range in Taiwan are very similar to those only found in the Giant Panda habitats of China?

Just shy of the 2,500m range, Taiwan’s Daxueshan National Forest (#大雪山)is a beautiful destination filled with wonder.

The cool climate (even in the summer) is home to a vibrant temperate coniferous and broadleaf mixed forest.

While there have not been any Panda sightings here (that we know of) it is home to some of the best and largest cypress trees in the world.

It’s also a great place to just walk around.

海拔將近2,500公尺的大雪山國家森林遊樂區#大雪山 擁有在夏季也十分涼爽的氣候，以及充滿活力的溫帶針葉闊葉混交林。

雖然在這裡還沒有野生大熊貓出沒的跡象（也許只是沒人看見呢），但大雪山擁有世界上一些最好又最大的柏樹家園。

大雪山也是適合四處走走的好地方。

フィレンツェから車で1時間半ほど南にある小さな村「ボッロ村」。
村の周りにはブドウ畑やオリーブが木々を連ね、豊かなトスカーナの自然に囲まれたゆったりとした時間が流れていた。大麦が風になびく姿にほっこりとしながらワイン片手に村を散策してみました。

トスカーナ地方で良く見る均一に植えられたイトスギの木に、
石造りの小橋、町の高台にある教会、イタリアの田舎町の郷愁を
凝縮したような街並みは、日常のようでどこか懐かしく、そこに住む人たちの人生を肌に感じる町でした。

"思い出は一生の宝物"

►We traveled to "IL BORRO" of Toscana In Italy. It only about a hour from Firenze by car. Great drive also:)

Around the village, there are many Olive trees and grape field and time pasts slowly with Toscana's rich and plentiful nature.

Cypress Planted evenly,Stone bridge, Church on the hill. We felt warm nostalgia from these townscapes of Medieval Europe.

Even though our culture is different, but we felt somewhat nostalgic and touched the life of people who live in Borro.
