還記得那波蘭插畫師 Mateusz Kolek 筆下在旺角金魚街的男人嗎？去年五月，對香港情有獨鐘的Mateusz在香港舉行了首次個人展覽「Alone Together」，得到很多迴響，對他來說是一次非常寶貴和難忘的回憶，一年後的他，有以下的話想跟大家說：
．
「一年前，世界是一個截然不同的地方 —— 令人興奮、充滿新機會和新冒險。去年 5 月 5 日，我舉辦了香港首次個人展覽「Alone Together」。當時，「Alone Together」對我來說的意義和現在不同。對於香港人來說，去年難以想像地艱苦。當我們在Cabinet of Stories 結束展覽之後一天，有關引渡條例的社會運動就開始了。香港是其中一個最早被 COVID-19 襲擊的地方，而現在我們所有人，包括身在波蘭的我，都必須面對這個奇怪而危險的時刻。

很多人可能會感到孤單，但我們都一起在這孤單裡；很多人需要留在家中，一起阻止病毒在全世界蔓延。

在上次展覽完結的一年後，我要感謝所有曾前來展覽或以其他方式支持我的人。歡迎大家下載這幅插圖，他就是一年前我畫的那位金魚街的男人。現在，他正乘著天星小輪回家。

"One year ago the world was a very different place , so exciting, full of new opportunities and adventures. On May 5 I opened my first solo exhibition "Alone Together" in Hong Kong. "Alone Together" meant something different for me back then. This last year was unimaginably hard for Hongkongers. On the next day after we closed the exhibition with the gallery StoryTeller the protests against the extradition bill started. Hong Kong was one of the first place hit by COVID-19 and now we all have to face those strange, dangerous time.
．
A lot of us might feel alone but we're alone in this together.
A lot of us stay home to stop the virus.
．
One year after the exhibition I want to thank everyone who came to the exhibition or supported me in any other way. Feel free to download this illustration.
