Tengah syok-syok di ulit mimpi tetiba kejang kaki.. sakitnya Tuhan je yang tahu kan?
Sakit "pelik"ni mula dari betis sampai ke hujung kaki tu.. dengan perut besarnya lagi, adoilaahhh.... sampai buat mommy susah nak melunjur kaki bagi lurus.. so apa lagi kejut encik suami la minta pertolongan.. hihi =P
Ha... buat suami, bila isteri kejut tu bangunlah.... jangan terik selimut pulak... hihi =P
Kejang kaki ni, atau mak-mak kita biasa panggil tarik mengkarong @ simpul biawak.. kebiasaanya ibu mengandung akan kena jika kandungan masuk trimester ke 2 dan ke 3..
Kejang kaki ni jadi bila otot kaki menampung berat badan yang berlebihan masa mengandung.. rahim yang membesar juga turut memberi tekanan dari pengaliran darah dari vena utama kaki naik ke atas..
Situasi ini berlaku bersama dengan kesan hormon progesterone, antara hormone utama yang terhasil waktu mengandung.. ini secara tak langsung memberi kesan kepada ketahanan dan kekuatan otot kaki semasa hamil..
PUNCA & TIPS UNTUK MERAWAT
• Keletihan pada otot betis, terjadi bila mommy aktif berjalan sepanjang hari. So, daddy take note, make sure urut kaki mommy sebelum tidur ya..
• Tekanan pada urat saraf bahagian kaki. Mommy perlu pakai kasut yang selesa, jika mommy pakai kasut yang sempit dan tiada udara, lenguh kaki akan cepat berlaku..
• Peredaran darah yang tidak lancar. Mommy bila dah penat sangat berjalan tu, redam kaki dengan air panas suami 15 minit ya.. untuk melancarkan pengaliran darah. Mommy juga sangat digalakkan bersenam ya..
• Garam galian atau mineral dalam badan tidak seimbang, sama ada terlalu sedikit kalsium atau magnesium atau fosforus berlebihan.. faktor makanan pun mommy kena ambil kira ya, amalkan minum susu dengan konsisten. Takda cheat day ok! Dan amalkan minum air masak 7 gelas sehari ya..
Kebiasaanya kejang kaki ni akan berlaku pada waktu malam.. kalau persekitaran sejuk pun anda akan mudah diserang simpul biawak ni.. dan bila anda dah nyenyak tidur, lepas tu mengeliat, automatik kekejangan boleh berlaku..
So, mengeliat tu boleh tapi jangan lah over sampai terkena suami sendiri.. kalau tiba-tiba kejang! Haa kaki tu stay baik punya kat muka suami.. HARU BEB! kesian kawan tu.. hehe
Kalau suami takda dekat sebelah? takpa jangan panik ya! ambil masa, duduk diam-diam sampai anda rasa boleh lunjurkan kaki.. ber adudududu la sensorang..hehe
Luruskan kaki perlahan-lahan, dan bengkokkan bahagian buku lali kaki dan jari-jari kaki ke arah anda.. pastikan sendi lutut semua lurus ya.. cuba bongkokkan badan dan capai jari kaki anda, dengan lembut dan sopan tarik jari-jari kaki perlahan-lahan..
Kalau tangan tak sampai, mintalah pertolongan suami..InsyaAllah semuanya akan OK seperti sediakala..

Has mommy ever felt a leg seizure during pregnancy?
In the middle of a shock, I suddenly had a leg cramps.. Only God knows it, right?
This "weird" pain starts from the calf to the end of the leg.. with the big stomach again, Adoilaahhh.... until it makes mommy hard to put the feet straight.. So what else wake up Mr. husband asking for help.. hihi =P
Ha... for the husband, when the wife wake up, wake up.... don't be hot in the blanket... hihi =P
This leg cramps, or our mothers used to call the pull of the mengkarong @ the lizard knot.. the happiness of pregnant mothers will be hit if the content enters the 2TH AND 3th trimester..
This leg cramps so when the leg muscle holds the excessive weight during pregnancy.. the growing womb also gives pressure from the blood flow from the main vein of the foot up to the top..
This situation happens along with the effects of progesterone hormones, among the main hormone that results during pregnancy.. This directly affects the resilience and strength of leg muscle during pregnancy..
Causes & tips to treat
• Fatigue On Calf Muscle, happens when active mommy walks all day. So, daddy take note, make sure to massage mommy's feet before going to bed ya..
• Pressure on the nerves of the leg. Mommy needs to wear comfortable shoes, if mommy wears small shoes and no air, tired legs will happen quickly..
• Blood circulation that is not smooth. Mommy, when you're so tired of walking, you'll get your feet with your husband's hot water for 15 minutes.. to launch blood flow. Mommy is also highly encouraged to exercise ya..
• Mineral Salt or mineral in the body is not balanced, whether it is too little calcium or magnesium or excessive phosphorus.. even the food factor mommy has to take care of it, practice drinking milk consistently. No cheat day ok! And Practice Drinking 7 glasses of water a day ya..
The happiness of this leg cramps will happen at night.. even if the cold environment you will easily get attacked by this lizard knot.. and when you sleep soundly, then mengeliat, the cramps can happen..

I’m not quite sure what it is but for the past two weeks, I have been struggling to fall asleep. I’m tired throughout the day but as soon as I lay in bed, my heart starts pounding hard and I struggle to drift off. My chest is tight, my bladder constantly needs emptied. I’m so anxious that I’ll get stomach cramps that last until the morning light. What am I anxious about? My children. Oh also, on tomorrow. I’ve always been the type to wing life. I never like to plan too far ahead. I take each day, task and challenge as it comes. With my children, I’m a different story. If I could shield them from a bad dream, I would. It’s suddenly dawned on me just how little control I truly have over my kids (which actually isn’t a bad thing after all). With Isaac starting P1, my fears that I projected on him has been crippling me. What if he doesn’t fit in? What if he gets bullied? What if he doesn’t enjoy school? With ayla starting daycare two days a week, I’m anxious about her not being in my care. What if she doesn’t feel prioritised? Why do I feel so much guilt? As parents, We try to balance more responsibilities which just leads to mum guilt increasing along the way. Does guilt actually help us perform better? No. Not only do I need to have more faith in my children, I especially need to have more faith in God. For a while, I felt like He was absent in my life and only recently I realise it was me who was absent all along and trying to make things work on my own. My wise friend @__sabby66__ told me that as a parent, I am just a steward to the children. God loves my children even more so than the love I have for them? I was able to understand His love for us better. It gave me such peace to just surrender. I love being a mum but this fear needs to go and I need to replace it with a different f word, faith. When I stArt to see shadows I will not fear because it just means there is light ahead of me. 在經過了47項血液、尿液、血壓等醫院檢查後,我可以很開心跟大家分享自己是個健康寶寶!😄
【先說明一下我的飲食演變史】
💚從有記憶以來就不吃海中動物(任何魚、蝦、螃蟹等)
💚12年前開始蛋奶素
💚9年前開始純素
💚1年多前開始「全食物植物」飲食
【檢驗結果】
💚鐵、鈣、鈉、鉀、鎂之類的東西都不缺
💚三酸甘油酯、低密度脂蛋白膽固醇、尿酸之類的不但正常,大概也比一般葷食者低很多
💚血糖、紅血球(還有其他很多項目)也都正常
唯一讓我一開始有點不確定的就是維生素B12比一般數值高(這通常是素食者最容易缺乏的,但我竟然還太多😂),後來親自請問了營養學界的權威、NutritionFacts.org創辦人Dr. Greger(格雷格醫師),他說這沒大礙,所以「In other words, you're perfect」。
要特別強調的是,我唯一會吃的補充品就是「維生素D」和「維生素B12」,因為只有這兩種是從飲食中比較難攝取到的。既然我顯然不用擔心B12過低,現在補充的頻率也稍微減少了。
以前的我絕對不會用「健康」兩個字來形容自己。只要上個體育課在戶外曬曬太陽就覺得頭暈;膝蓋有舊傷,走路多了就痛;每個月生理期簡直要痛死,無法正常生活;濕疹、皮膚過敏;經常胃痛,還曾經必須送急診;每幾個月就感冒一次;經常性頭痛……但是這些問題在過去9年來都消失了。我從連路都不能多走,到最喜歡騎腳踏車兜風;從不敢從事戶外活動到熱愛曬太陽、健行;從懼怕生理期,到每個月它來了我也完全沒事。
我並不是那種一輩子一口肉都沒吃過的胎裡素寶寶,所以我可以感受到不同飲食帶給我身體的改變。說穿了,我不是「竟然吃素還那麼健康」,而是「正因為吃素才那麼健康」。我是個家族史裡有癌症和各種慢性病的人,但我知道,疾病只有極小部分取決於基因,而大部分都能靠飲食和生活習慣預防。
順帶一提,我現在已經很少推廣「吃素」了,而是會推廣「吃全食物植物」,因為炸薯條、可樂和白米飯也是素的,但卻不是最健康的食品。在我看來,營養學對所有人都重要,但素食者尤其要了解,因為如果你不健康,別人會把你的不健康怪罪到素食頭上,到頭來害到的還是動物。我見過許多素食者因為吃得不健康,最後竟然怪素食,又回去吃動物製品,這是非常可惜也誤導人心的。
今天這篇實在很長,但其實我還沒講完耶~~😂最近工作很忙,下回再繼續。配圖拍照當時是為了搞笑,但突然覺得很適合。✌️

I'm happy to announce that after 47 tests, I can finally share with the world that I'm healthy! Not lacking any vitamins or minerals; normal numbers in LDL, blood sugar, urid acid, triglyceride and so on; and I feel amazing. The only thing that I was unsure about was my high B12 level, but I consulted Dr. Greger. According to him, it's not a problem, and "in other words, you're perfect!"
So here's the evolution of my diet:
💚Forced to eat a few bites of fish and other sea animals when I was little, but that was the end of it. Never ate them ever since.
💚Went vegetarian 12 years ago.
💚Went vegan 9 years ago.
💚Went whole food plant-based (WFPB) a bit more than 1 year ago, with vitamin D and B12 supplementation.
To sum up, all my health problems have been gone for the past 9 years, including chronic stomach ache, debilitating menstrual cramps, knee pain, eczema, constant cold, etc. I'm not healthy despite being vegan - I'm healthy because I'm vegan (and WFPB, I'd add).
I'm someone with a family history of chronic diseases (particularly cancer), but I know it's mostly up to me to prevent diseases with diet and lifestyle changes. I wasn't born vegan or WFPB, so I clearly feel the difference in how my body reacts to different types of diets. For me, it's a journey of empowerment and compassion toward self and others, and I'm happy to keep going. ✌️
