(Leading
Languages in daily use)之一。Leading
Languages in daily use = English(英語),Chinese(中國普通話),Cantonese(粵語),Russian(俄語),French(法語),Spanish(西班牙語),Arabic(阿拉伯語)。

🇲🇽 It's #CincoDeMayo!! 🇲🇽 celebrating the triumph of the Mexican army at the Battle of Puebla. This day reminds me of growing up in the Bay surrounded by loving, generous families who welcomed the Mai fam into their homes to celebrate and teach me lightweight Spanish. I can't walk by cumbia music or hear the beautiful language without remembering all the Hispanic influence in the #Bayarea. Now if someone could take me and Freddy to see a real Mariachi band, day complete 😍😍 Feliz #CincoDeMayo everyone!

I have a weird habit of speaking in Korean when I wake up from anaesthesia. I'm not sure why it happens, but I decided to upload the video as I thought it would be interesting when viewed through a linguistics/cultural lens. And yes, I have of course learned Korean before - I don't think it's possible to magically wake up speaking a language without previous exposure. Thank you to all the views, comments, likes and subscribes! You guys rock!

We did a fun social experiment / prank where me and two of my white American friends who also speak fluent Mandarin Chinese and some Cantonese (and Spanish!) pretended not to be able to speak English with people in NYC’s Brooklyn Chinatown — and then switched over to perfect Chinese! It was a really fun day and we made lots of awesome connections with people, had lots of great Chinese food, and of course got plenty of funny reactions. Hopefully this can inspire some of you to try and learn other languages!
Make sure to subscribe and come back for Part 2 in this language learning / prank series next time!

Remember to go to https://BuyRaycon.com/xiaomanyc for 15% off your order! Brought to you by Raycon! Today I went onto a bunch of Chatroulette-style websites like Omegle and Ome.tv to do random chats with Chinese speakers. I initially started speaking with them in English but as a prank I suddenly switched to perfect Chinese and they were super surprised! This was a super interesting social experiment but I also had an amazing time and met lots of cool people!
And please remember to subscribe to my channel if you’re interested in Chinese or all things language learning!
