Phobia là hội chứng ám ảnh, sợ hãi một điều gì đó. Có rất nhiều loại phobia, đôi khi mình nghe họ nói nhiều mà mình cứ bị lộn, không nhớ và không hiểu ý. Mình tổng hợp lại một số phổ biến nhá.
1. Acrophobia (fear of heights): sợ độ cao
2. Astraphobia (fear of thunder and lightning): sợ sấm chớp
3. Claustrophobia (fear of small/enclosed spaces): sợ không gian kín
4. Entomophobia (fear of insects): sợ côn trùng
5. Social Phobia (social anxiety disorder): nỗi sợ về xã hội, các mối quan hệ giao tiếp, tương tác
6. Glossophobia (fear of public speaking): sợ nói trước đám đông
7. Autophobia (fear of being alone): sợ một mình, cô đơn
8. Cynophobia (fear of dogs): sợ chó
9. Mysophobia (fear of germ/dirt): sợ vi khuẩn, sợ bẩn,...
10. Hemophobia (fear of blood): sợ máu
Mình thì có "ornithophobia", nỗi sợ chim mãnh liệt và phi lý từ hồi bé.

Pada hari ini saya dan keluarga telah melawat Sekolah Agama Taman Kota Masai, Pasir Gudang untuk meninjau proses Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran (PdP) di sekolah agama Johor dan melihat pelaksanaan prosedur operasi standard (SOP) pencegahan penularan jangkitan covid-19 serta halatuju pendidikan agama untuk kelestarian anak-anak rakyat negeri Johor dalam membina ilmu agama.
Kami juga berpeluang berjumpa dengan murid-murid dari Sekolah Kebangsaan Pendidikan Khas Princess Elizabeth dan Sekolah Agama Pendidikan Khas Johor Bahru. Kedua-dua sekolah ini masing-masing ditubuhkan untuk memenuhi keperluan pembelajaran khas bagi anak-anak rakyat Johor yang mengalami masalah penglihatan, pendengaran, pertuturan dan autisme.
Sekolah pendidikan khas adalah perkara yang amat dekat di hati saya dan keluarga saya. Pendidikan adalah hak untuk semua rakyat, tidak mengira kaum atau agama mahupun keupayaan. Saya ingin menegaskan setiap anak Johor berhak mendapat pendidikan asas yang baik.
Pembangunan insan yang berilmu dan beradab, terutamanya untuk anak-anak rakyat Johor, perlu dilaksanakan di ruang pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang kondusif dan selamat ketika wabak Covid-19 masih berterusan.
Saya telah mengemukakan beberapa persoalan mengenai pelaksanaan SOP dan PdP dan diharapkan agensi-agensi berkaitan mengambil maklum mengenai isu-isu tersebut untuk memastikan proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang terbaik untuk anak-anak Johor.
Saya turut menasihati Jabatan Agama dan Jabatan Pendidikan serta Jabatan Kesihatan untuk sentiasa memantau sekolah-sekolah di seluruh negeri Johor agar SOP diikuti dan dilaksanakan dengan kesan minima terhadap proses PdP.

My family and I visited the Taman Kota Masai Religious School, Pasir Gudang today to observe the Teaching and Learning (T&L) process at Johor religious schools and see the standard operating procedure (SOP) implemented to curb the Covid-19 outbreak as well as the direction of religious education for the Johor youth's continuity in improving their religious knowledge.
We also had an opportunity meeting students from the Princess Elizabeth Special Education School and Special Education Religious School Johor Bahru. Both schools were established to fulfill special education needs for Johor youth who have vision impairment, hearing impairment, speech disorders and autism.
Special education schools are something very close to my heart and my family's. Education is a right for everyone, regardless of race or religion or even disability. I would like to stress that every Johor child deserves to get good basic education.
The development of educated and good mannered youth, especially for the Johor youth, needs to be carried out in conducive and safe teaching and learning spaces during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
I raised several questions on the executions of SOP and T&L and hope that the relevant agencies would take note of the issues to ensure the best teaching and learning process for the Johor youth.
I also advised the Religious Department, Education Department and Health Department to always monitor schools in Johor to ensure the SOP would be followed and carried out with minimal effects on the T&L process.
