Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been obsessed with superheroes...⁣
⁣
I like lots of different ones, but my favourite superhero is Iron Man.⁣
⁣
Today I’m going to share with you 3 powerful yet unexpected things Iron Man has taught me about life, and about business.⁣
⁣
1) Play Your Strengths.⁣
⁣
One of the reasons I like Iron Man so much is that he doesn’t try to be someone or something he’s not...⁣
⁣
He knows he doesn’t have superpowers. And he knows he doesn’t have superhuman strength.⁣
⁣
But that doesn’t stop him.⁣
⁣
He knows what he is good at. And that’s where he devotes all his energy.⁣
⁣
You see, if you compare yourself to others and try to become them, instead of focusing on your own strengths and gifts…⁣
⁣
You WILL be disappointed.⁣
⁣
Focus on becoming the best version of yourself. Don’t try to be someone you are not.⁣
⁣
2) Always Upgrade Your Skills⁣
⁣
Heroes aren’t born, they are built.⁣
⁣
Iron Man understands this, and that’s why he’s always improving his skills...⁣
⁣
He is never satisfied.⁣
⁣
As soon as he solves a problem, he is working on the next one.⁣
⁣
And it’s the same in life.⁣
⁣
Think about it this way...⁣
⁣
Everything in life that you truly want, you’re going to have to go out of your comfort zone to get.⁣
⁣
And if you’re not doing that on a regular basis, can you really say that you’re working towards your dreams?⁣
⁣
You see, if you are not solving problems, you are not growing.⁣
⁣
And if you aren’t growing, you’re dying.⁣
⁣
3) Make Sacrifices For What You Love⁣
⁣
Very often, you hear people that say.⁣
⁣
“I would love to take my family on vacation.”⁣
⁣
“I would love to live in a nice home...”⁣
⁣
“And I would love to be more successful.”⁣
⁣
But they’re not willing to sacrifice for it.⁣
⁣
You see, I sacrifice a lot for what I do.⁣
⁣
To achieve anything you want in life, there is always a price you have to pay.⁣
⁣
If you want something - you have to give something.⁣
⁣
And that’s one of the things I love most about Iron Man.⁣
⁣
He knows that he has to make sacrifices. He knows the price he has to pay.⁣
⁣
But he doesn’t cower back in the face of difficulty. He stands strong and gets busy paying that price.⁣
⁣
