I wonder when was the last time I spare my free time chilling in a cafe, listening to slow jazz, reading whatever I feel like reading, writing down whatever that's on my mind, sipping a cup of chamomile tea, checking the outside world from my phone or laptop while observing what comes near me, and quietly hearing my inner voice... just that, just as simple as that.
It's fulfilling enough.

【10號仔：RubberBand】
每月10號畫一個10號仔，4月10號，畫夠4個———RubberBand（橡膠樂隊）———左至右：鼓手泥鯭、主音結他手兼隊長阿正、低音結他手阿偉同主音6號。
如果「10號仔」係代表緊果隊波，咁香港樂壇組合嘅「10號仔」非RubberBand莫屬，不論係佢哋音樂風格同一路走來嘅心路歷程，都好「香港」。
RubberBand由2004年正式組班，「地下樂隊」咗好幾年，2007年自薦搵公司，2008年於金牌娛樂／金牌大風正式出道，一嚟就拎咗叱吒新力軍金獎，2009-2013年可謂樂隊高峰期，先後拎過叱吒組合、我最喜愛男組合、年度專輯、同埋各台嘅年度十大歌曲好多次（唔數喇），當中《Simple Love Song》、《Easy》同《睜開眼》仲拎埋當時仲在生嘅「四台冠軍歌」！頒獎禮上，最有印象係喺叱吒台上面，以兩支結他簡單伴奏（主要係阿正彈），6號接近清唱咁演繹咗年度歌曲《Simple Love Song》，要知道呢首歌當初係由阿正寫，本身仲諗住麻麻地唔想要，好彩最後無掉到，起死回生。及後2014年轉會到寰亞唱片，出咗兩張大碟，拎到唔錯成績，特別係《Frank》同隱藏版《Frank?》大碟，睇得出RubberBand不斷求進，喺既有模式當中再進化，亦嘗試跳出框框。合約期滿後，RubberBand又再回歸獨立，但唔再「地下」，直至現在，希望唔係永遠……因為「獨立」，永遠都要面對一個好現實嘅問題：資源分配。所有嘢都要自己嚟，宣傳、聯絡、金錢、時間、精神體力、不同專業範疇等等都係一個挑戰。不過對於創作人嚟講，相信無嘢係比「自由」更可貴，同時保持初心係最重要。所以幾時都話：「走自己風格係最有型，但亦係最危險」，RubberBand之所以選擇獨立，可能其中一個原因就係想繼續做自己。可幸嘅係RubberBand一路走來，始於如一，無比市場定型、不甘固步自封，最難得係，仲有團火。
RubberBand由五缺一，到四加一。講緊係Keyboard手藝琛早早係2010年因健康為由離開咗樂隊。但好好彩，RubberBand團隊背後其實仲有個好重要嘅人一直Backup住佢哋：一位個樣似楊千嬅、歌聲優美到可以做幕前嘅填詞人Tim Lui，佢仲要係主音6號嘅太太嚟添！根據非正式統計，Tim Lui至今包辦咗RubberBand超過80%以上嘅歌詞，好多成名作都係出自佢手，例如《阿波羅》、《Simple Love Song》等等，當然唔少得佢同老公合唱嘅《Slow & Easy》啦！不過Tim Lui最犀利嘅地方係題材多變，中英都得！就好似一隊波有幾個進攻點咁，中場傳直線又得、左右閘Overlap落底傳中又得，無得輸呀！
講起「多變」，一般嘅組合都有既定嘅市場定位，令受眾容易Search到想要嘅嘢。不過RubberBand最特別之處就係有個人風格得嚟又有驚喜。作為男子樂隊，佢哋無吓吓嗌爆咪唱到聲嘶力竭、無限Loops啲「當兵」歌，反而係Keep住「一聽就知係RubberBand」*嘅特色，再不斷尋找可能性，真係要乜有乜，仲要瓣瓣掂：
要慘情嘅有《零度聖誕》、《Secret》；
要抒情嘅有《城記》、《寂寞島嶼》；
要柔情嘅有《喜宴樂隊》、《你和我》；
要激情嘅有《前面尚有一萬里》、《Gotta Go》、《逆流之歌》；
講友情有《心照一生》、《未來見》；
講親情嘅有《M.A.M.A》、《G.I.》；
講社會民生嘅有《Easy》、《放》；
借足球講少數族裔嘅有《細街杯》、《黑雞》；
講掙扎求存嘅有《3字頭》、《挾持》；
講時事政治嘅有《睜開眼》、《語言藝術》、《脫軌時刻》
……首首好歌，實在太多，不能盡錄。
除咗啲歌好聽之外，同時必須留意嘅係RubberBand嘅Music Video，全部都好似藝術品一樣，滿載詩意！呢樣同6號嘅身份有關，皆因出道前嘅佢係喺港台做助導，有深厚嘅功力（特別係美學上嘅修行）。呢家RubberBand嘅MV全部都由佢親自操刀開鏡兼剪接，可謂多才多藝。首推《是時候》同佢孖生啊哥《Simple Love Song》嘅MV，西環取景，拍出香港嘅節奏同寂靜；《你和我》，透過充滿力度嘅舞蹈演繹出「溫柔」；《未來見》，好友之間所產生嘅隔膜，就好似睇緊一套微電影咁……好多好多，好很精彩。
RubberBand出道至今10年多，由20幾歲不斷衝衝衝試試試，才華洋溢又不失玩味性質，到呢家多咗陣「佬」味，無論曲詞編唱甚至MV一地都係，可以話同聽眾一齊成長緊。講緊係聽聽吓（或睇睇吓個MV）會唔小心代入咗、流咗滴眼淚、夭心夭肺咗大半日果隻，可能有返啲經歷嘅人會更明白吧……好嘅音樂，該當如此。正如真正世界級嘅球員，係唔會單一招死衝爛衝踢到尾，隨住時代轉變，應該要不斷反思、改變踢法，轉換形態，咁就算踢到50歲都仍然可以繼續———希望50歲仍然可以聽到RubberBand到時嘅新作，於願足矣。
*RubberBand初出道曲風偏向Smooth Jazz同Funk，舒服順耳得嚟有節拍感，例如《小涼伴》、《遊車河》、《一早地下鐵》、《發現號》咁，不過隨住藝琛嘅離開，慢慢地轉形、進化。陣痛過後，造曲旋律上比以往認真細膩、而且愈造愈「精緻」，聽得出用咗好多心力做Mixing，同埋開始好識運用6號把咁獨特嘅聲線去「點睛」（例如《山河故人》唱出果種無奈感，一絕也）。特別係最近兩三張大碟，好似聽緊6號用佢把聲去詮釋緊一套戲咁，好精彩。所以，有一個好嘅主唱，同一隊波有個識踢嘅10號仔一樣，事半功倍。
