Presiden Joko Widodo arrived today for his introductory visit to Singapore. We had a fruitful discussion on how to increase our tourism and economic cooperation, especially in the Batam, Bintan and Karimun (BBK) zone.
Our countries signed two MOUs on youth and sports development, and on information sharing for an e-government.

Highlights of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit.
Brought PM Modi to ITE College Central today as he was interested in how we do vocational education and skills training. We have set up a Skills Centre in Delhi and are setting up a Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality in Udaipur, Rajasthan to train Indian youth. We hope these centres will make a contribution to PM Modi’s Skill India Campaign, which he launched in July.
My thanks to PM Modi for taking time to visit Singapore and for our good discussions. I am looking forward to visiting India next year to take our partnership and cooperation further steps forward. - LHL

Done in collaboration with Gov.sg, the illustration contains many uniquely Singaporean brands and mascots. Do take the time to carefully examine the drawing. Besides the everyday COVID-19 heroes in the illustration, Singaporeans from all walks of life are playing their part, supporting and encouraging others.
