今天在(美國的)小兒科醫師社團看到有人發文:
"我正在考慮要不要為了高薪去加入一個一天(八小時)要看35-40個病人的基層診所。大家覺得一天看這麼多病人有可能嗎?" 以下留言:
"太多了啦，不行" 一半以上回答這個
"絕不，除非他們給你配個scribe(醫療打字員。醫生問診時在旁邊幫忙打病歷的)加上至少兩個MA(醫療助理)以及薪水很高"
"他們怎麼可以期待醫師一天能看這麼多病人呢?"
"這樣子的看診模式無法長久啦"
"你很快就會burn out了"
"如果我被要求看這麼多病人我應該會自殺。我現在一天只看六個病人呢"
"千萬不要，塊陶"
"就算他們給我配個打字員，我還是這個數目覺得太多。我現在一天看20-25個病人"
"一天看這麼多病人你的看診品質會下降啦，不要吧"
"絕對不要，除非他們給你至少三個助手"

"我一天只要看超過25個病人診所老闆就知道他要遭殃了"

"我一天最多只看30個病人，而且我有打字員"
"以這個病人數量，我一個星期最多只能工作2.5天"
"我以前曾經因為賺錢考量做了類似的工作，一天看40-45個病人，一個星期看三天。但作了兩年後我就離職了，換到比較輕鬆的工作，因為我真的好累而且很怕看這麼多病人容易有醫療疏失"
