龍谷瀑布在文海心中可列為台中市第一美景，可惜龍谷瀑布在921大地震與72水災侵襲後便無法通行，至今超過十餘年，年輕一輩的台中市民甚至不認識龍谷瀑布。2015年我與和平區區長前往龍谷瀑布現場會勘，並在同年11月13日於台中市議會都發建設水利質詢時向當時局長建議，應讓和平區龍谷瀑布步道復建，恢復龍谷瀑布步道不僅可提升當地觀光產業，也可增加當地居民的就業機會，增添台中市新的觀光景點，實為一舉數得！在我們努力下，2017年9月13日和平區公所舉行龍谷瀑布步道復健工程可行性評估會議，相信讓市民見識龍井瀑布之美已不遠矣!
