Our deepest condolences to the family of Pak Mie, a kind and compassionate man known for rescuing hundreds of stray animals in Alor Star, Kedah.

Pak Mie, who was in critical condition after suffering a stroke and brain haemorrhage, passed away late last night. Their shelter currently houses some 700 dogs and 200 cats.

A contractor who gave up his job to care for his rescued animals, Pak Mie, and his wife Mak Intan, have demonstrated an inspiring example of what we can achieve with kindness and compassion.

Mak Intan has vowed to continue Pak Mie's legacy, together with their son and volunteers.

Fu-jin, Rai-jin, and Masaki are 3 rescued cats living in Tokyo, Japan.
Their owner Mr. Ikezaki is a famous comedian and now he's famous for his activities rescuing cats.
