A very Happy New Year to everyone! 🎉 I hope you’re having a good time ushering in 2018! This year, we’ll also be preparing for Singapore Bicentennial celebrations in 2019, to mark the 200th anniversary of Stamford Raffles’ landing in Singapore. It is a good time to reflect on our history, how far we have come, and how far we have yet to go.

Many of you guessed right! I was at MediaCorp on Caldecott Hill for the Capital 95.8FM programme 空中访民情. Had a lively discussion with DJs Jia Biao and Yi Xin, as well as the live callers.

Like I told one caller, it is crucial for leaders to stay close to citizens. Programmes like this are a valuable chance to hear what ordinary Singaporeans think and feel.

We chatted on many things, from PSLE stress and job prospects to the competitiveness of our port. All these issues reflect how we always want to do better – for ourselves, our children, and Singapore.

We also touched on lighter topics, like my photos on FB, and taking up pilates.

2019 不容易，但很感恩。
這ㄧ年充滿了挑戰、困難和淚水，當然也成長了不少。2019 發行了第一張專輯，完成了第一場音樂會，參加了第一場滑水比賽、去旅行、交了新朋友..

還沒準備好迎接2020，
但也迫不及待和2019 say bye bye.
過去的幾個月經歷了許多情緒及精神上的起伏，相信每個人在人生的道路上，對於生活多少都會感到沈重和缺乏動力，需要時間來整理自己的思緒並再次找回心裡那把燃燒的烈火、那份熱誠。

今年跨年只想自己ㄧ個人，給自己一些時間安靜思考，在家裡度過這一天似乎是最好也最舒適的選擇。

祝大家新年快樂！
2020 願我們都找到生命中真正想要的。

Grateful for 2019.
Yes, it was full of challenges, obstacles & tears, but also growth & laughter.
2019, Released my first album, had my first concert, participated in a wake-surfing competition, made new friends & traveled..

Not sure if I’m ready for 2020, but definitely ready to say goodbye to 2019. The past few months has been mentally & emotionally tough with a lot of ups and downs.
We’ve all felt that Heaviness and lack of motivation in life, there’s nothing wrong with that.

All I want to do on NYE is to be alone, quiet my mind and give myself some time to dive deeper, really THINK & REFLECT. Spending this day at home seems to be the best & most comfortable option.

Sometimes you just need time to collect yourself and find that fire in you & reignite it again.

I wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR.
In 2020 may we all find what we really want in life
