Recipe: Coconut Oil Popcorn with Salted Egg Sauce
When it's Friday movie night at home, I'll head to the kitchen to make a batch of popcorn. Using Medella Coconut Oil this time round, we have a non-greasy, fluffy bowl of coconut goodness! If you’re trying to get more coconut into your diet, here’s a recipe for you. Everyone loves this and it reminds me of how old-fashioned movie popcorn used to taste before. Best deal is, no oily fingers and the coconut oil makes the salted egg yolk sauce taste better!
Ingredients
3 Tbsp Medella Coconut Oil
1/2 cup of popcorn kernels
Salted Egg Yolk Sauce
5 salted egg yolk, steamed
20g Medella Coconut Oil
20g corn flour
70g icing sugar
30g coconut cream
Method
1 Mash yolks into a soft paste and all other ingredients. Stir until well mixed and set aside. To make it more smooth and runny, you can blend it in a blender for 3 minutes.
2. Heat 3 Tbsp Medella Coconut Oil in a saucepan on medium high heat. Pour in popcorn kernels into the oil and cover the pan. Once the popping starts, shake the pan to prevent burning and helps them pop more evenly.
3. Once the popping is done, place the popcorn immediately into a wide bowl, add in salted egg yolk sauce and mix well. You can place the popcorn in oven and bake for 5 minutes at 180 degree celsius to make it more crispy.

做法:將方包放在飛碟烤盤中,上面放上香蕉片及朱古力塊,再放上方包,夾起燒至麵包微焦及朱古力溶化即可。
牛油爆谷
材料:爆谷豆、牛油、鹽
做法:鍋內加入爆谷豆及牛油,炒至牛油溶化,蓋上錫紙等待爆谷爆開,取走錫紙,灑上適量鹽即可。
楓糖班戟
材料:班戟預拌粉、楓糖漿
做法:班戟預拌粉加入適量水拌勻,倒在煎鍋上煎至兩面金黃色,淋上適量楓糖漿即可。

Ingredient: bread slices, sliced banana, chocolate pieces
Preparation: Place the bread slice onto the sandwich cooker. Top with banana slices and chocolate pieces. Cover with a bread slice. Grill until golden brown and chocolate melted.
Buttered popcorn
Ingredient: popcorn kernels, butter and salt
Preparation: Fry the popcorn kernels and butter on a pan. Once the butter has melted, cover the pan with tin foil and wait for the kernels to pop. Once it is ready, remove the tin foil and sprinkle some salt on top of the popcorn.
Maple syrup pancake
Ingredient: pancake mix, maple syrup
Preparation: Add pancake mix with water and mix well. Pour on the frying pan and fry until golden brown on both sides. Drizzle with maple syrup to finish.

Japanese Butter Roasted Corn with Rice (SPEED Recipe)
Difficulty: 15min + cooking time
Time: 30 min
Number of servings: 4
Ingredients:
2 cups (300g/10.6oz.) uncooked Japanese rice
2 corn on the cob
2 tbsp. Butter
2 tbsp. Soy sauce
a pinch of salt
Directions:
1. Wash rice (about 3 times). *If you have time, drain in a strainer, leave for about 30 minutes.
2. Using a knife, slice down along the cob to remove the kernels.
3. Place the rice in a pot, add water to the appropriate level indicated in the pot. Then place the bare corn cobs (juices of the corn transfer to the rice and make the rice very tasty: add Umami). Place the pot into the rice cooker. Cover and press the button to start.
4. While cooking rice, heat butter in a pan, cook until the kernels are tender and bright yellow. Add soy sauce then pan-roast until golden brown.
5. When the rice is done, remove the corn cobs, mix in the roasted kernels. Add a pinch of salt to taste.
