น่าจะเห็นกันไปแล้วสำหรับ The House of The Dead Remake เกมยิงซอมบี้อาร์เคตในตำนาน ที่กำลังจะไปลงให้กับเครื่อง Nintendo Switch ในเร็ว ๆ นี้ แต่คุณรู้หรือไม่ว่า ตลอดชีวิตที่ผ่านมา The House of The Dead ไม่เคยขายในเครื่องยุค HD มาก่อน ทั้ง ๆ ที่ภาคสอง ภาคสาม ถูกนำไปมัดรวมขายหลายครั้ง

เป็นเพราะ SEGA เสีย Source Code เกมเก่า ๆ จำนวนมากไปอย่างไม่ตั้งใจ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Burning Rangers, Panzer Dragoon Saga และ The House of The Dead ซึ่งแต่ละเกม ถือเป็นเกมโด่งดังสร้างชื่อของสตูดิโอทั้งนั้น

ฉะนั้นการกลับมาในเวอร์ชัน Nintendo Switch จึงเปรียบเสมือนการทำใหม่หมดตั้งแต่แรกเริ่ม ซึ่งก็น่าจะไม่ได้ยากอะไรเพราะถึงแม้จะไม่ได้มี Source Code แต่ทาง SEGA ก็คงมีตัวเกมเก็บไว้ให้เทียบกันแบบเฟรมต่อเฟรม ทำให้เวอร์ชัน Remake ไม่น่าต่างอะไรจากเกมภาคหลักมาก ยกเว้นกราฟิกและระบบการเล่น
