Would you spend a day clearing plates at a hawker centre to understand the job of the cleaner, or check 36,000 niches to help someone locate a departed relative’s ashes? These are just two real stories of how public officers have helped Singaporeans, featured in a series of short films.

#PSW2019

To commemorate Public Service Week 2019, Sufyan Sam’an, Yan Zhao Poh, Ray Pang Yoong Hui 彭勇輝 and Sabrina Poon, together with Gov.sg and PSD Singapore produced these four short films.

Empathy, perseverance, going the extra mile, and making a difference to people. These short films tell the stories of four committed and dedicated officers, what they did, and why their efforts mattered. I watched all four films, and the behind-the-scenes-video too, and was moved by them. Do view them in the playlist below.
