Last minute signed up the National Dualthon Trial 2019 in Supersprint Event at Sepang F1 Circuit.
Was planning to go there and support my athlete Nigel and Jun Han. Since I have my bike with me as I rode to Publika from UM this afternoon for my weight training session and follow Jun Han's mum to Sepang, I decided to ask the organizer if I can take part on it.

As there were extra bib, therefore I decided to take part. It's a 2k Run (2 loops), 8k Bike (1 big and 1 small loop the F1 Circuit) 1k Run (1 loop).

It was a really great golden opportunity to race with Malaysia Top Duathlete and other country Representative like Singapore here in this dualthlon.

Went and follow them for a bike route familiarisation at 5.10pm.

Trying my best to learn the gear shifting, doing the sharp turning and some technique on wearing the helmet and pull the bike out and push through the transition area and quickly ride on it. It's been long time I didn't ride bike and I just collected the bike on last Friday after it got fixed.

Race started at 6.30pm, my initial plan is to come back 1st in the 2k run and do my best to stick with the first Peloton later on. I came back first with a few seconds gap. Quickly went in and put on the helmet and push the bike out from transition. Managed to come out quite fast and leading for the first straight line.

After a turn, the Singaporean duathlete and Chong, Nigel came and overtook me, then followed by Ziq and Edwin. I was on my own later on.

After awhile, Azwan came and lead me. Until a sharp turn, I managed to overtake Azwan as he went out too fast and off the course, then he made his way back to the course.

Then I was on my own after the first Peloton as they flew away very fast. Trying my best, shifting some gear pedaling and chase them and they just getting further and further.

Came back for the last km run on 6th position, and the first 5 already 300m away. Giving my best effort to chase and in the end manage to close down the gap between the runner in front but still couldn't catch up.

Ended up with a 6th placing out of 19 Athletes. Quite happy with it too! @ Sepang F1 International Circuit

【完整版】2015年某隊F1軚盤按鈕和撥片指南
右上黑色圓形R按鈕:Radio。放著關,按著開,有time-out功能。當中間白色radio LED燈著了,代表開了radio。無線電是雙向的,場上和車房內都能通訊,但要留意車手條聲有優先權,會截斷車隊條聲(所以Kimi廢話少講,字字珠璣,句句金句)。
左上黃色圓形N按鈕:Neutral。按著可從一或二波入空波。車手必須腳離油門。
右下黑色圓形BP按鈕:Bite Point。按一下啟動Bite Point finder程序。
左右中間白色圓型-/+按鈕:全名叫MFRS(Multi Functional Rotary Swtich),配合旁邊轉輪一起使用,用來「跳頁」選擇N咁多種mapping。
左下白色圓形Ack按鈕:Acknowledge。按下確認之前的操作更改(即係「confirm」囉)。
右上紅色圓形PL按鈕:Pit Limiter。按下啟動pit limiter;此功能只能於四波或以下被啟動,在高波段嘗試啟動將被拒絕。當pit limiter被啟動後,引擎將被調教至適當轉速,當速度減至pit limiter(一般80kph)+/-3kph是,大mon上方的燈將會全著(提醒車手是時候放迫力喇喂)。
正下方紅色圓形OIL按鈕:Oil Button。此按鈕啟動額外機油缸的電池閥門。當有需要時,比賽工程師會通知車手按製,將打開閥門一段既定時間。按製後將有beep一聲確認。
右上角OT按鈕:這不是「加班」製,而是Overtake製。「扒頭」製的意思是按一個製,就能在限定時間內,同時啟動數個不同maps,以協助車手扒頭或防守。車手可以在動力被限制(慳油mode)時,隨時使用扒頭mode。當啟動扒頭mode時,大mon上方會著一盞藍燈。
左上黑色圓形Box按鈕:Box confirm製。按製確認今個圈駛進維修站。
左上藍色圓形OL按鈕:Outlap display製。按製顯示outlaw時的車胎和迫力數據。
左邊YES/NO按鈕:假如無線電壞了,YES製(即是白色Ack製)和NO製(即是藍色OL製)是用來確定或否定比賽工程師或pit board的信息。
右上黃色圓形S1按鈕:The Special Onesss,Special製。這些製的功能可根據實際需要而改動,主要功能有兩種。一,簡化彎與彎之間的改動。二,以按製取代某些扭製的功能以減輕車手負擔。如果按了S1製,大mon上方右邊第二盞藍燈將會著,以示啟動了S1 mode 。
左右兩側黑色Toggle按鈕:方便快速跳頁選取不同mapping(每項最多14個maps)。Toggle按鈕比左右兩方中間的扭輪優先(必需disable toggle才能使用扭輪),如果兩個toggle製都被按了,右邊PREL14號map將優先。按了哪邊toggle,就亮起哪邊白色LED燈。
正中左右黃色(實際是橙色)和綠色Toggle按鈕:按此兩製將overwrite其他從扭輪選取的brake balance map,並分別優先啟動1號或14號brake balance map。按了左邊黃色toggle製,將優先啟動1號brake balance,並亮起黃(橙)色LED燈。按了右邊綠色toggle製,將優先啟動14號brake balance,並亮起綠色LED燈。
BBal-/BBal+撥片:用來微調brake balance
Shift撥片:軚盤後面有兩轉波撥片,可供拉上轉波。
Clu撥片:軚盤後面有兩極力子撥片,左右各一。右手邊的連接後備極力子感應器;只在另一個壞掉時才用。

古語有云:工欲善其事,必先利其器。工具是器,態度也是器。一個F1軚盤價值約三十萬港幣,每年設計不一樣、每隊設計也不同,連隊友間的也可以tailor-made。三十萬,物超所值。因為,背後的F1態度才是無價。
F1車隊都呻窮,不過是窮得只缺錢。錢,大陸、油王和普京都不缺。那應該有F1車隊吧?習近平足球夢,老早應該完夢?事實是,大國兩場一球不入我門。告魯夫說,我從來沒見過一袋錢贏波。一個人贏波贏一袋錢就有,我說。
平治F1車隊之所以是世界冠軍,除了技術和錢(別忘了法拉利至少花了一樣多,如非更多),大概是因為他們對每項細節的更執著、對每個準備的更嚴𧫴,卻又同時擁有更能容許錯誤的空間、更勇於承認失敗的氣度、並及時upgrade這等軟實力。如果平治入的是鉛水和地溝油,我想「GP2車隊」麥拿侖都能擊敗他們,因為場場壞車。
以上廢話跟軚盤指南有啥關係呢?儘管你我這世人也不大可能駕駛F1戰車,但無阻我們去了解《十萬個為甚麼》。正如中六合彩頭獎這些機會.....但我仍堅持每期買一樣。所以ussssh,呀唔係,係push!
