ในงานเปิดได้เจอเจอ “มิไรโตะวะ” มาสคอตของโอลิมปิก และ “โซเมตี้” มาสคอตพาราลิมปิก @tokyo2020 มาเปิดบู๊ทโปรโมทด้วยยย คือน่ารักมาก ต้องขอวิ่งงงงไปแชะภาพคู่ 📸
(ตอนนั้นก็คิดนะคะ ว่าต้องได้กลับไป เลยไม่ได้ซื้อตุ๊กตาที่ระลึกมาเลย… งืมๆ เสียดาย)
วันนี้เอารูปและที่มาของชื่อของทั้งคู่มาฝากค่ะ
💙 มิไรโตะวะ ตัวสีน้ำเงินมาสคอตโอลิมปิก มาจากคำว่า “อนาคต” (未来, mirai) และ "นิรันดร์" (永久, towa) แปลรวมกัน “อนาคตสดใสจะอยู่นิรันดร์”
🌸 ชื่อของ โซเมตี้ มาสคอตพาราลิมปิก 2020 มาจากเอกซากุระ Someiyoshino บวกกับคำภาษาอังกฤษที่ออกเสียงได้ว่า so mighty แปลว่า “แข็งแกร่ง ทรงพลัง”
ที่มาชื่อคือดีเนอะ อ่านแล้วยิ้ม take care และสู้ๆนะคะทุกคน เราจะผ่านมันไปด้วยกัน

I have 2 dreams…
1) To win a Gold medal at the Olympics
2) To have our very own indoor track velodrome in Malaysia
The 1st dream was a deviated to a Bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, however I am very determine and work hard towards turning the Bronze to Gold in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
As for my 2nd dream, I was stoked to witness myself our very own indoor velodrome today. It was 80% in completion and I was honored to have my signature on the thrust of the start and finish line. It was great to meet the contractors and the staffs that had been working very hard to make my dreams come true. I am very excited and looking forward to ride and race at my very own home soil. I would like to thank the Ministry of Youth and Sports @khairykj , @kbsmalaysia KBS, @isnmalaysia ISN and @msn_malaysia_official MSN plus Malaysian to make my dream came true
