Glad to be elected as one of the committee members in the Malaysian Olympians Association over the weekend!
The inaugural General Meeting for the re-establishment of the Malaysian Olympians Association (MOA) was successfully conducted on Saturday, 12th November 2016, at 11.00 am at Dewan Dato' Ho Koh Chye, Olympic Sports Hotel, Wisma OCM, Jalan Hang Jebat, Kuala Lumpur. Election of Office Bearers was held, and the following were elected for the session 2016/2017.
President: Mr. Karu Selvaratnam (Athletics - 1964 Olympic Games)
Deputy President: Mr. Jeffrey Ong (Swimming - 1988, 1992 Olympic Games).
Vice Presidents: Mr. Stephen George Van Huizen (Hockey - 1984 Olympic Games) and Ms. Noraseela Khalid (Athletics - 2012 Olympic Games).
Committee Members: Dato' Mirnawan Nawawi (Hockey - 1992, 1996, 2000 Olympic Games), Mr. S. Sabapathy (Athletics - 1972 Olympic Games). Ms. Roslinda Samsu (Athletics - 2008 Olympic Games, Ms. Khoo Cai Lin (Swimming - 2008, 2012 Olympic Games).
Due to no nominations, the posts of Secretary General and Treasurer have yet to be filled.
