There’s been so much ongoing conversations about the LGBT community in Malaysia lately. So here’s my two cents.

Let’s think of the LGBT community as pineapples on pizza. 🍍 🍕 Not everyone’s going to like it; some people love it, and some people think it’s abomination of the food industry. But guess what? You shouldn’t pick the pineapples off my pizza, or throw it away and insult me for my food preferences. No one’s asking you to like it either, just eat your own pizza and stay in your lane. For the record, pineapples and pizza are literally the best thing ever! ❤️

In 2015, had a Mara scholarship student who was found in London with 30,000 images and videos of violent child pornography, and we reduced his 5 year sentence to 9 months and secretly brought him back to Malaysia. What’s worse is they CONTINUED TO LET HIM STUDY FOR FREE LOCALLY BECAUSE HE WAS A BRILLIANT STUDENT AND MARA WANTED TO GIVE HIM A SECOND CHANCE.

What kind of message are we trying to put out here? That if you were smart, and abused children, you’d still get a shot at your scholarship and walk a free man? Clearly we doesn’t have their priorities in check.

Two consenting adults in love shouldn’t be the primary focus of our country. Love should be an equal right for all. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 #LGBT #LGBTQA+
