Thank the Lord... I thought I was going to miss out on my absolute favourite sweet treat. MOONCAKES!! It's officially Mid-Autumn Festival, @hennessyus sent over the new bottle design of Hennessey X.O by Frank Gehry. But most importantly mooncakes to share with loved ones and friends (maybe, if I don't eat them all first 😬).
🥮 The Precious of Reunion
To attend badminton coaching, I left home at the early age. Most of the time, I always travel around the world for International tournaments. To me, spending time with family is precious yet limited.
Among the Chinese Festivals, Mid-Autumn Festival symbolizes the reunion of the family which I appreciate the most. During this joyous festival, my mother will insist us to have mooncake to celebrate this meaningful festival. Till now, no matter where I am, I will still prepare mooncakes for family and friends. It reminds me of the importance of how preciousness to the reunion with family.
Mooncakes are not a festival food; it brings to mind apart between me and my family. This is why I am so picky about mooncake selection. I have tried all kinds of mooncake in the world, Malaysia-made Mooncake still the best for me. Sometimes, my wife laughs at me, because I am very particular in choosing mooncake.
One day, a friend of mine introduced me Pure Lotus Single Yolk mooncake, until now, I still can remember the tastiness of the mooncake. The well-combination of taste just fit into my favourite. Therefore, after founded the brand of Changer, without any hesitation, we are taking Pure Lotus Single Yolk mooncake as our house brand. I believe the preserving of unique taste and traditional making method will keep this tradition alive.
