Ramadan is meant to be calm by default, right?
For most people, it isn't.
Due to pressure and expectations we put on ourselves, we find that we're on the run to the next good deed, the next iftar, the next grocery shop, the next something.
Add Eid plans to the mix, exhausted and frazzled become prominent features.
I'm a bit radical when I say ditch traditional Ramadan checklists and opt for an inside out approach, and I personally did this for the very reason that I wanted calm in my Ramadan.
I NEEDED calm in my Ramadan.
Having calm in your Ramadan means you can slow down. It means you can savour the days and nights and actually enjoy them. It means you can see opportunities at every avenue without the stress that you haven't ticked something on your neverending list.
Calm in Ramadan creates such beautiful imagery, doesn't it?
