#北市府的認真日常
拖了十幾年的台北流行音樂中心計畫，終於蓋好了！
其中，可以容納6000人的表演廳在今年完工。加上四間live house，一個北流就有涵蓋200人到6000人的各種表演場館，正好填補了目前台北市最欠缺的中型表演場地，讓更多新生代的音樂人有機會可以站上舞台。
北流是在我任內開工、完工，要檢查成果，不管是室內的聲光效果、牆壁的隔音、人流進出動線，沒有比找樂團來實際演出更直接。
上星期六，我們集結了茄子蛋、滅火器、草屯囝仔、白鐵仔、黎可辰等新生代樂團來表演廳演出，透過不同的音樂型態，來測試場館的聲光效果，也邀請了1400位歌迷來「試聽」，也順便「試跳」，並檢查室外噪音程度，看起來工程品質不錯。
我不是音樂專家，只要聽起來比卡拉OK好都可以，但歌迷的要求非常高，所以我們也找了很多樂壇的專家一起來檢測，看哪邊還需要再修改的，在正式啟用之前都還有時間可以改進。
不只有表演廳和live house，這裡未來還有讓流行音樂產業進駐的產業區，以及展覽台灣流行音樂歷史的文化館，這些都啟用後，會給南港帶來更多人流，也會是東區門戶計畫的一大亮點。
