Prophetic word for someone:
“Yahweh’s angel appeared to him, and said to him, “Yahweh is with you, you mighty man of valor!” Gideon said to him, “Oh, my lord, if Yahweh is with us, why then has all this happened to us? Where are all his wondrous works which our fathers told us of, saying, ‘Didn’t Yahweh bring us up from Egypt?’ But now Yahweh has cast us off, and delivered us into the hand of Midian.” Yahweh looked at him, and said, “Go in this your might, and save Israel from the hand of Midian. Haven’t I sent you?” He said to him, “O Lord, how shall I save Israel? Behold, my family is the poorest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.” Yahweh said to him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall strike the Midianites as one man.”” (Judges 6:12-16 WEB)
Gideon started off complaining, unconfident and pessimistic about the future, thinking that God had abandoned him and the nation into the hands of their enemies.
It only took one encounter with Yahweh (Jesus) to give him the assurance that God was with him and that he could defeat his enemies.
After that, Gideon went on to become a man of valor, boldly destroying the enemies of Israel.
If you are complaining and fearful right now, see Jesus telling you “Do not be afraid—you will be victorious.”
Jesus is not condemning you for being afraid so you don’t have to beat yourself up.
He doesn’t need your tears of apology—the Lord just wants to see you well, complete in every way.
Just one fresh revelation of Jesus can flip your whole situation around.
It begins with you believing that God is for you and not against you—that He’s with you and has never abandoned you.
Mighty child of God, your sword is your faith-filled declarations of God’s promises. Every oppression of the enemy has to cease when you continue to confess your victory by faith!
