My little smartie-pants! Three of my favourite favourites from Snapchat yesterday:

1) Dash suddenly said by himself "The mouse has a spiral" and to my surprise when I went to look at it it really does have a tail that spirals. LOL!! At this moment I feel a #parentingwin. #heknowswhataspiralis # #reallygotspiralemoji

2) Dash can spell a few words now and "Popo", which means Grandma in Cantonese, is one of them. Technically this isn't a word I guess but whatever lol. And yes to everyone asking I do try to teach him Chinese but to limited success. He seems a lot more interested in English.

3) Dash requests me to spell Mickey Mouse. Just put that in coz his face is so darn adorable like seriously how can you be so cute at 2 year 3 months old???! He still looks like a fatty baby sometimes... Or maybe I'm biased. Don't grow up so fast Dash!! #alwaysthecutestbabyinmyheart #dash2yr3m

《少年小鬼我在路上 FIGHT》 11月17日於舊金山獨立短片影展（SF indieShorts）拿下評審團最佳影片獎（Jury Prize for Best Film），為2018年度第五次國際影展獲獎，再次為台灣創作爭光！
FIGHT won the Jury Prize for Best Film in SF indieShorts of San Francisco IndieFest on 11/17 last week, the fifth award during 2018 internationally.

共40部入圍短片、5部VR作品選片，《少 》以默片的特殊形式描繪暴力、成長與選擇勝出，現場觀眾為施名帥 (Ming Shuai Shih)精彩的表演所折服，也為素人演員蕭禾、吳昇岳的表現喝采。
Over 40 shorts and 5 VR selections, FIGHT is unique for depicting violence in growing pain as a silent film. The audience were surprising for lead actor Ming Shaui Shih's non-dialoge acting, also gave claps to the teenager Paul Xiao and kid Carson Wu, non-professional lead actors.


導演林宗儒與故事原型錢克勤參與放映座談，在此次社會暴力為主題的選片中，別具意義。故事根據錢克勤牧師幼年在美國成長被霸凌，至開槍還擊的經驗，與另一獲特別推薦獎的《Too Many Bodies》舞蹈短片交流，該片靈感來自可倫巴高中槍擊事件。🙌
Director David Lim and story base 錢克勤 （Chyan Ken） were in the QA, talked about the experience though Ken's bullied childhood in south California and how we transform it into art, he was the gunner in the school trying to fight back to bullies. It was a good moment to meet another filmmakers of Too Many Bodies which is a dance film to memorize Columbine High School shooting.

今日はパパメチャクチャ大失敗の企画動画になります。わざわざおもちゃ屋さんのトイザらスに行ってショベルカーを買って帰って、LOLサプライズとおうちでガシャポンディズニーフレンズガチャガチャをカラーボールの中に入れて、ショベルカーのアームで宝探しをやってみました。

Today it will be a planning movie of Papa Megacha Failure Fail. I went to the toy store's Toys' R Us and bought a shovel car and came home, put the Gashapon Disney Friends gagagacha in the color ball with LOL Surprise and home, and tried a treasure hunt with a shovel car arm.

I wasn't going to vlog today, but I felt like if I put it off I would get in a rut of not uploading for a few weeks so I gathered my strength and did it! lol

One of the speakers of the presentation event that I went to the other day is a bubble wrap researcher who comes up with cool, pop ways to promote bubble wrap. They've come up with bubble wrap products just for popping as well as bubbles in the shape of hearts and mickey mouse. She gave me some samples to take home so I thought I'd share the uniqueness of Japanese pop culture lol
