Apple ประกาศรายชื่อแอปพลิเคชันที่ได้เข้าชิง Apple Design Awards ประจำปีนี้เป็นที่เรียบร้อย โดยมี 2 เกมดังอย่าง Genshin Impact และ League of Legends: Wild Rift ที่ได้รับการเสนอชื่อเข้ามาด้วย

ก่อนหน้านี้ Apple ไม่เคยประกาศรายชื่อผู้ที่ได้เข้าชิงก่อนจะถึงเวลาจริงเลย ปีนี้จึงถือได้ว่าเป็นครั้งแรก ซึ่งเผยออกมาราว ๆ 5 วัน ก่อนที่งาน WWDC 2021 จะมีขึ้นในสัปดาห์หน้า

สำหรับ Genshin Impact ได้รับการเสนอชื่อในสาขางานวิชวลและกราฟิก ส่วน League of Legends: Wild Rift ได้รับการเสนอชื่อในสาขานวัตกรรม จากทั้งหมด 6 สาขารางวัลที่ประกาศออกมาในวันนี้

Apple จะประกาศผู้ชนะรางวัลผ่านวิดีโอพรีเซนต์ในวันที่ 11 มิถุนายน 04:00 น. ตามเวลาประเทศไทย โดยก็ต้องรอลุ้นกันอีกครั้ง ว่าเกมเหล่านี้จะคว้ารางวัลใดไปครองได้บ้าง
