Here's my costume making progress from 2009 >> 2017 . 🐱❤ Sheryl Nome Lion ver. was one of my very first handmade cosplay costume ! Back then I learnt how to sew from an aunty , she taught me basic drafting and how to use a sewing machine for a month and then I continue learning by myself through books and searching for guides online. I'm not good in sewing back then and it frustrates me when needle breaks or the costume doesn't turn out to be how I imagined it to be. Years passed by , I'm still constantly learning everyday because there are many things that I don't know.

When people ask me how do I make cosplays ? Why am I talented in this ? I think of it not as talent but years of practice. I look up to many inspirational people and I hope to improve a little everyday. 🌝❤🙌🏻 I think cosplay is a wonderful hobby because you learn a lot from it : like costume making , crafting props , make up , wig styling , photography etc .

When I was little, my dad taught me about the world, he showed me his travel photographs and told me fascinating travel tales as he travelled around the world. It was a very long time ago.. about 30 years ago... ♥️

I garnered interest in the world from him, he will never forget to get me toys or something from the places he visited. He always had so many things to share, not just material items but his life experiences. ♥️

He once told me the world has no borders, it's all because human mapped it among ourselves. He inspired me and impacted my life with his great wisdom and vast knowledge. ♥️

Sometimes when I was travelling, I could sense his presence around me. Typically the incident in Vienna (his favourite city in the world, as he was a musician). I went to a musical concert in one of the famously oldest concert hall in Vienna. As I was travelling alone, I paid for the lowest tiered seat but was upgraded for free for no reason. I was told it was full, but strangely there was an empty seat right beside me throughout the concert. That night my connection with him felt typically strong in the concert hall. ♥️

As some of you might know, back in 2013, I went back to his old travel albums (hardcopies of course), to my shocking discovery, I notice a lot of similarities to my travel photos (before TI360 time). The poses, the style and even the spot we stood were identical. Just different time zone. I got a lot of goosebumps that evening and decided to make a collage. ♥️

Dad's love is amazing. Its powerful, strong, impactful and everlasting! He taught us great things! And he sacrificed his life for us to live a better life! 😭

Yes, we wish he could still be with us today! We wish to tell him how much we love him and want him to continue watch us grow and progress in life. We wish he could spend more time with the little monsters. We miss his cooking, the taste that would melt our heart, and we wish to tell him how much we miss him! ♥️

Treasure everyday u have with your love ones. Make every day a Fathers' Day cos they truly deserve it. ♥️

「不想要一種凝固的滿足」，擁著兩個可愛孩子的Ranee如是說。
她既滿足，又怕滿足。

家庭生活讓Ranee自覺於心理和時間上都很滿足，但她直言：「我不太喜歡這個感覺。」生怕自己活在一種膠著的狀態，讓她既想凝固幸福，又不想人生停步。「主觀上我想有多些創作力，要多做運動。」滿足，卻不滿足於此，是橙色的勇氣。

雖說有點停滯的危機感，但一對孩子正正牽著Ranee的手向前走。「一開始也沒料到這會讓自己更認識自己。帶著孩子，好一些童年沒經歷過或忘記了的事，現在可以重新經歷一次。」長子Anton為她帶來重開時裝店時加入童裝系列的靈感；在旁不時四處張望，引人注意的Jonas，一舉一動就成了她此刻心態的反射。「你看他，肯定3歲已經會跟陌生小孩嚷著要一起玩！」這正和Ranee想繼續旅行、認識更多人甚至發展合作企劃的想法一致。

廿一世紀時代女性Ranee K.，創立個人時裝品牌 ranee_k ，為時裝注入東方色彩。先後兩次為初生孩子而結束業務，現時擁有時裝設計師、藝術家和媽媽三重身分。

A seemingly contented, or unseemingly dissatisfied Ranee K is craving for imbalance. “I don’t like to be stagnant. But I feel comfortable with my time and mind. Maybe I need a change? Maybe I don’t.” Living a life of adventure in a state of status quo, she is striving for more. “I think creativity is the essence. I need to feel anew, I need to feel afresh, I should start running.”

Orange is the colour of courage from comfort.

“I did not expect motherhood to be a process of gaining self-knowledge too.” Elder soon Anton has inspired her to explore the world of childrenswear. The sensitive and alert Jonas reflects Ranee’s awareness. “He’s going to be a problem, he knows far too much!” Ranee has a continuous desire to keep traveling and to even build an enterprise. Comfort and security do not shroud her courage for inspiration, attempt and progress. Others see her as a comfortable orange, but she perceives a flame from within.

Ranee K, founder and designer of the fashion brand ranee_k, is a mother of two boys and a reality artist.

Where do you miss going the most? I miss the Santa Monica Pier ? It's one of my favorite places in LA (as you probably know if you watched my birthday vlog heh), but since it's closed to the public rn, I did makeup that reminds me of it! I posted that I used only drugstore eye products for this look on IG and I think we were all kinda shook ? Drugstore makeup has come so far..I've been discovering a lot of new drugstore favorites lately while playing with makeup in quarantine. Right now, I'm obsessed with the Revlon Micro Gel Eyeliner, it's so tiny!

I'm not going to lie, I've been super stressed lately so I'm trying my best to create relaxing content for those of you feeling the same ??‍♀️ We can get through this together one day at a time ? Let's seek happiness in our everyday lives. I've started to notice and appreciate little things - the way my bed frame glows as the sun sets, the warmth of freshly laundered sheets, mid-day naps and dreams of being back in a functioning world.
One day, we'll get there again.
