รถไฟแม่เหล็กไฟฟ้าเร็วทำลายสถิติโลกมาแล้ว !
ตอนนี้กำลังก่อสร้าง เจาะอุโมงค์ยักษ์กลางโตเกียว

ญี่ปุ่นกำลังมีโครงการ Linear Chuo Shinkansen หรือรถไฟชูโอชินคันเซ็นที่ขับเคลื่อนด้วยการยกตัวของแม่เหล็กไฟฟ้าหรือ Maglev (Magnetic Levitation)

ด้วยความที่เขาใช้การเคลื่อนที่ด้วยแม่เหล็กไฟฟ้านี้จะทำให้รถไฟลอยอยู่เหนือรางในการวิ่งไปข้างหน้าด้วยความเร็วสูง โดยในปี 2015 ทาง Central Japan Railway (JR Central) ได้ทำลายสถิติโลกด้วยการทดสอบความเร็วสูงสุดของ Maglev เร็วถึง 603 กิโลเมตร/ชั่วโมงด้วยความนิ่งเสถียร และในการใช้งานจริงคาดว่าจะวิ่งได้เร็วสุดถึง 505 กิโลเมตร/ชั่วโมงเลยทีเดียว

Linimo is one of only two Maglev (magnetic levitation) trains in the world that's open for anyone to use. You can find it in Aichi prefecture, Japan, and it's pretty awesome!! I had no idea it was a Maglev the first time I rode on it and was actually more surprised by the fact that there was no driver. And lo and behold what do I find out after looking it up! Who knew?! It's a super smooth ride, 10/10 A+ would ride again.
