尋找艾瑞克Looking for Eric--與你的英雄對話，足球大帝的人生哲學
在首輪的日子裡，這部片只在台北的兩家戲院上映。平日經過西門町附近，都沒有
機會走進真善美戲院瞧瞧，於是今天決定造訪這家以放映藝術電影聞名的戲院。進入七樓
的藍廳，偌大的扇形坐位區配上看起來不算大的銀幕，當然是要選定前排坐位，才能好好
地去尋找到底艾瑞克是怎麼一回事。
其實艾瑞克(Eric)不但沒有失蹤，自本片一開始直到結束，Eric一直都在，而且還
出現了兩位艾瑞克!原來導演取名"尋找艾瑞克Looking for Eric"，意思是男主角Eric藉
由自我探索以找回失魂落魄之前的那個自己。
Eric是一個諸事不順的郵差先生，對於三十年前的不告而別一直感到愧歉而不敢面
對前妻。家裡總是亂成一團，家中兩個未成年兒子的交友狀況十分糟糕，甚至大兒子還牽
扯上黑道，替黑幫老大藏槍而惹上麻煩。Eric自己的郵差工作也越來越漫不經心，甚至有
一大堆送不完的信竟然都藏在衣櫃裡(笑點)。工作與生活一團亂的Eric，唯一慶幸的就是
他還擁有一群不錯的工作夥伴兼好友--一群郵差先生。
郵差工頭在一次好友聚會中，依照心靈勵志叢書當中的指示，帶領大家做心靈沉澱
的小團體活動，每個人都要閉眼深呼吸，想像站在鏡子面前檢視自己，接著每個人都說出
自己心目中的英雄人物。Eric說出他的英雄是英國曼聯足球隊(Manchester United)的球
星，又號稱足球大帝的艾瑞克·坎圖那Eric Cantona。在這次聚會之後，Eric每當在內心
展開自我對話的時候，就幻想著Cantona(由前曼聯足球明星Eric Cantona本人擔綱演出)
在自己身邊，扮演著自己的心靈導師。
Eric與Cantona之間諸多的對話，一方面勾勒出Eric大學時代在舞會中認識前妻的
愛情故事，以及對前妻不告而別的苦衷，一方面也把Cantona在足球賽中傑出事蹟與經典
進球畫面帶給觀眾。這位Eric心目中的英雄，也透過許多人生哲學智慧之語，帶領著Eric
逐一改變生活中的窘況，第一步是刮掉滿臉憔悴的鬍子，開始跑步健身讓自己充滿精神，
找回過去自信滿滿的自己，進而整頓家裡的環境，並且協助自己的兒子脫離黑道的牽絆。
當然最後也是最重要的，就是再次贏得前妻的芳心。
在這部充滿英國腔的影片裡，Eric靠著與心目中英雄對話的方式，從失魂落魄的生
活中蛻變重生，實在令人為之喝采！除此之外Eric面對兒子與黑道間的糾纏，以直接出面
協助的方式取代咎責，最後終能成功的挽回其親子關係。其中郵差工頭烙了三大遊覽車的
郵差弟兄，戴著面具直搗黑幫老大巢穴這一段更是令人拍案叫絕！而最令人難忘的，自是
Cantona這位心靈導師在本片中的許多生活哲學智慧之語：「我們可以做的選擇，永遠比
想像中的多」、「你必須永遠信任你的隊友，否則就輸了」、「寬恕，是最高尚的報復」
、「他們比你快，就別跟他們比快；他們比你高，就別跟他們跳高；他們的左翼強，你就
走右翼」，以及在片尾謝幕之後出現的一句Cantona經典海鷗語錄：「海鷗會跟著漁船飛
，是因為牠們以為會有沙丁魚被扔進海裡」(畫面上是剪接球星Cantona在1995年禁賽事件
後的媒體記者會上，只說了這句無釐頭的話就快閃。)
