“Blip喜歡黏著電腦不放!”故事一開頭是這麼說的。Blip就像現今網路世代的孩子，她獨自一人在黑白電腦上學新東西，玩遊戲，跳舞，行萬里路。直到有一天，斷電了，她被電線絆倒，插頭和電腦分離，掉到戶外去。而戶外等著她的，正是一個明亮又彩色的世界，綠色的山坡，高大的樹木，蜿蜒的河流還有一群真實的動物朋友。她和朋友們學新東西，玩遊戲，跳舞，出遊…就像她以前和那台冰冷的，黑白的電腦做的事一樣。直到天色晚了，她回到家後重新與電腦接上線，雖然她也喜歡和電腦重新連線，但這時她滿腦子想的盡是….不插電時和朋友相處時的美好。這是一個關乎探險，發現與友誼的故事，它告訴我們，在家打電腦很好，但走出戶外也很棒。

“Blip liked being plugged into her computer.” The first line in the story, it said. Blip is like most of the children who were born after millennium nowadays. She learned new things, played games, visited faraway places from her computer, stayed alone in a black and white world all day long. But one day, there was a power cut, and Blip tripped over her wire and toppled out the door. Outside the door, there was a bright and colorful world waiting for her, grassy hill, tall trees, blue winding river …and some real animal friends. Learning new things, playing, dancing, and visiting faraway places… She did everything with her real friends outside just as what she had done with her black and white computer. But when it was getting late to go home, when she plugged back into her computer, though it’s great to be plugged again, however, all she could think about was how great it was to be UNPLUGGED! It is a story about adventure, discovery and friendship, and it tells us how great it is not only to be on your computer, but also to be outside in the great outdoors.
