This photo was taken immediately after a hosting gig last year. If you had ask me then to imagine a world without events, I’d say that you’re joking. But now it’s become a reality due to Covid-19.
People are often skeptical of my job because of its freelance nature. However, it was a calculated risk for me when I graduated because I had already built my network of clients even when I was schooling by actively pursuing event opportunities. And now that the event industry is one of the most affected in current times, I had to rely on digital media as my source of income. So a lot of juniors ask me what’s my greatest advice - to diversify your skill! Take your career to the next level because you’ll never know when another situation will happen like this again (touch wood!)
