หลังจากรอคอยมา 10 ปี ในที่สุด EA ก็ได้ประกาศว่า Skate ภาคใหม่กำลังอยู่ในระหว่างการพัฒนาโดยคุณ Cuz Parry ผู้กำกับฝ่ายสร้างสรรค์ของ Skate ได้กล่าวในอีเวนต์ EA Play 2020 ว่า พวกเขากลับมาแล้ว
