Today is International Women’s Day. On this day each year, we acknowledge and celebrate women, and recommit ourselves to help them achieve their needs and aspirations.

This year in particular, we are Celebrating SG Women. This campaign will champion women and their role in shaping Singapore, and the indelible mark they will leave in our future. The goal is shaping a more equitable and inclusive society, and a culture of mutual respect for all.

I have had the privilege of meeting many women contributing in diverse roles to the nation. From community leaders to everyday homemakers, you have all played a part in making Singapore that we know today, and I’m excited to see where we will go from here! – LHL

✨How are you celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8th? Did you know that March is also Women’s History Month and a time to commemorate the vital role of women in American history? AIT Deputy Economic Section Chief Arati Shroff spoke at the CAREhER International Women’s Day 2021 Summit to discuss the importance of a diverse and inclusive culture to empower more women leaders around the world. Over 150 guests joined in person to hear perspectives from AIT, U.S. companies, Taiwan industry, and thought leaders on how to achieve an equal future for women leaders in a COVID-19 world. Taiwan is a liberal and inclusive country with multiculture. We are all standing on this land now and together belong to part of it whether you have the history lasting over 5000 years, or the massive migration in recent 200 years, or even the new immigrants in late 20 years.

No one is excluded.

With the longest history, the indigenous culture is even more precious to Taiwan. It is filled up with confidence, inclusiveness, humbleness and hospitality and worth experiencing the charisma of it at least once in life.

We have all carried the history of each own so far, and it’s time to go home. Welcome and remake up the cultural identity of each other here beyond those obstacles.

We're in myanmar again!

This is our first time travelling to Kalaw and we are doing a 3 days 2 nights trek around the Kalaw mountain areas!

We found our trekking guide Yel' Lin through travel agency A1 after arriving Kalaw. The trekking tour is inclusive of accommodation (homestay) and food (cook by the chef). We homestay-ed in villages for both of the nights.

Although it rained in the second and the third day, the trek was an awesome adventure! :D

Dan ended up sleeping with locals, getting arrested, and crashing, oh and he got a horrible chemical burn from a caterpillar. Fun trip for him.
