It was a Kickass first show with a super passionate crowd and 歌神 delivered EVERY SINGLE SONG with such conviction .

And I got an epic birthday song (grandest birthday song ever in my life. #fullband) sung by 歌神 and a birthday card that said #JackyCheungWishYouAHappyBirthday (i'm not kidding) and a hug and a reminder to sing well... 1 birthday surprise that came with a Cake AND a cake tart from the band and we're now on the bus stuck in a Beijing traffic jam .

This week.. training was crap. i only managed 3 intensive sessions and 1 cardio. That is absolute absolute nonsense crap for a person getting ready for comp. Body was just tired on some days, there was unnecessary traffic jam and I just didn't make my training a big priority this week. Thats not gonna happen for the coming weeks. NO NO!
I have 55 days left to go and everyday counts as of now. The food, the sleep, the training, the mind..
That said I don't regret what happened over the week. The weekend was the Under Armour Test of Will 2017 National Heat. As a brand ambassador, i have to do my duties and be there. While it did take up sometime, i'm glad the location was close enough to gyms I frequent. But more importantly I got to Harrun.
He was the biggest champion of the fitgames to me. Even with cerebral Palsy he didn't let that deter him from finishing the 4 minute plus workout. Such an inspiration. If he can achieve something like that, anyone can achieve things. Meeting him gave me a bigger push to want to reach to be better at who I am and what I want to do with my body.

The end of 2016 has finally come and New Years should always be celebrated in style. Especially while I am living in Malaysia. So me and few friends decided to do something a little bit different to celebrate the new year!

The vlog starts in my chaotic bedroom which was in much need of a good clean. And to bring in the new year, I like to change things up in my environment so I got to putting things in order and moving things around.
Of course I time-lapsed it for you guys because it took me a good 4 hours to clean up. Most of it just being un folded clothes. LOL. But once it was spick and span, it looked FAB! Love to usher in a New Year with a clean space around me. Nothing feels better.
Then I headed off to do some end of year 2016 shopping for the celebrations happening later on in Malaysia's beautiful capital, Kuala Lumpur!! Even though, I know town is the craziest place to be on Dec 31st, sometimes you just gotta live a little.
Found a gorgeous little top that I wore for a video I was making that is up on the main channel and then it was a rush into KL only to be greeted by traffic jam central. YAY!!!
Managed to make it there just in time to catch the fireworks from KLCC. Unfortunately, my phone died, there was no signal anywhere and I couldn't find any of my friends, so I celebrated by myself.
Fortunately I found everyone about half an hour later. And then we went up to a terrace/lounge/bar place called Marinies on the 57th floor of KLCC which was super spectacular. The view was magical.
Anyway, ended the night with some food in my belly and some warm memories of 2016! Awesome end of and start of the year!
