Yay Dash can say up to five syllables or more now! Although the accuracy is sometimes questionable. Please don't anyhow pronounce words with the F sound Dash!
(In case you are wondering the last picture is his book and that's why he knows how to say "lots of chocolate cupcakes".)
When I'm parking the car he will also say "Mama parking".... And it sounds like I'm doing something... salacious.
He is 1 year and 4 months old.
每次過年總會發現一些全家都只會台語，沒人知道怎麼寫的食材⋯例如這個口感有點像栗子與黃豆的綜合體、台語發音「品彭」的食物，本名為「鳳眼果」，又稱蘋婆、羅晃子，外殼像大型的深紅色豆莢，黃色果實外還有一層黑色的殼，在植物界裡也算是長得蠻時尚的⋯根據醫藥百科，果實性甘，有溫胃、治腹痛的功效。
雖然不明白它跟鮑魚、白菜、獅子頭、勾芡之間的關係，不過也是順便長了知識。（除了獵奇長輩圖與麻將以外的小樂趣）
Always found new things in the new year dish that everyone knows how to pronounce in Taiwanese but don't know how do they written - for example this thing we found today: phoenix eye fruit, a fruit taste like chestnut mix beans (it also called Thai chestnut) sounds like "ping pong" in Taiwanese, which is grow in a dark red/brown pod with a black shelf outside the yellow bean. Sounds like a fashion icon in vegetable world.. lol
According to Chinese herbal medical encyclopedia, this fruit tastes sweet and able to cure stomach problems. Although I don't get the reason to cook it with abalone, cabbage and meatball, but it was fun to discover new interesting ingredients on the table.
This might just be the cutest thing EVER.
Usually I try to edit Dash's videos into 15 secs clips to upload to instagram (@xiaxue) but I love this whole clip so yay! My first youtube video in a zillion years!
Dash threw his toy on the floor while in his high chair and he knows he is not supposed to do that.
So I told him "Mama angry!" - which got cut away in the front part of the video - and gave him an angry huffy face.
Dash is only 1 year and 4 months old but somehow, he knows that when I give him the angry face he should try to make me smile.
So while I tried my best to not break into laughter, he kept saying "Mama shoo", which is somehow Sorry mispronounced, although usually he can pronounce sorry very well.
And of course the usual puppy eyes, done just right with some averting and slight cheeky smiles.
In the middle of the clip you can see him lifting up his shirt. He knows that if he performs "wash the belly", which is him rubbing his belly with his hands I will always squeal and say "SO CUTE!" and smile.
Ditto for the smacking of the lips because I love it when he does his "mian bao lian" aka "burger face", the biting of the lower lips to puff out the cheeks.
I really don't know how he became such a master manipulator but I lost terribly, smiling at him towards the end. You can see him smirking because he knew he won.
Fine, THROW ALL THE TOYS ON THE FLOOR!!

Although I do not understand half of the names myself, I think it's still important to know how to pronounce all the Swedish product names at IKEA.
Although it was early Saturday morning, we had a great time down in Taichung and I am already looking forward to our next video together (and more of those Chokladbollar of course!)
