之前我以為把 Friends（六人行）全部十季重看兩次會是我人生極限了，但自從發現 Netflix 竟然推出高畫質完整版，我又淪陷了……
不得不說Friends真是經典中的經典，邊看邊配午餐，還是常常笑到噴飯。

最近也和我的朋友滿熱衷討論六人行裡面的英文，剛好看到這段，Phoebe Rachel Monica 本來在聊如果要在另兩個人中選一個交往的話，會選誰，結果到最後變成在討論彼此令人討厭的個性。

這三個字很好用耶！

Maintenance – a situation in which something continues to exist or is not allowed to become less 就是要求要保持、維持在一定水準的意思
所以加了一個high maintenance，就是有點「高標準」的感覺，用在形容人身上可以想像那種要一直顧慮他的感受、難以伺候甚至龜毛的感覺 requiring a lot of attention or being emotionally needy
She’s so high maintenance and always acts like she’s a beauty queen. I can’t stand being around her anymore. 她真的很龜毛好像自己真的是個選美皇后一樣，我受不了她了。

Pushover這個字也滿可愛的，push是推的意思，想像一個人被推來推去也不會怎麼樣，表示很好被說服、很容易受使喚、很好說話、心腸很軟，甚至到了有點沒個性的感覺，因為都一直附和別人。
You’re a pushover for kids. I think your kids might end up being too spoiled. 你對小孩心腸太軟了，我覺得你的小孩可能會太驕縱。

If I may so interject with a little bit of dosage of everyday ongoings into personal intertwinings (the red squiggly line tells me this is not a word... but it is now).

So, I've been noticing a lot of these "Shoutout to low maintenance friends who you don't talk to for months because you're both busy with life but when you do, it's all love".

In all honesty, I find this a bit passive aggressive and it is used as a weapon to be a bit snark and attacky.

There are ALWAYS both sides of every story.

I have been both an agreer of this notion BUT most recently been a recipient of this so-called "low maintenance" way of communication.

Look, i get it. It doesn't mean that we have to communicate to each other EVERY DAY, however, I DO believe that if a friend reaches out to you, profusely, and you don't reciprocate or respond, what you say about being "low maintenance" is not valid.

Because you didn't do your part as a friend too.

Also, so what if we do have high maintenance friends who need a little reaching out, or validation to show that you care once in awhile? You agreed to have a friendship with that person and you'd know from the start the kind of commitment you'll have to maintain in this special relationship.

Some friendships are like orchids.
Rare, special and needs nurturing.

So here we go, I'm rooting for all the underdogs (people who don't always have supporters because they're underestimated or misunderstood. Jangan salah paham) because as I said, there are always TWO SIDES of every story.

I'm here, I understand what it feels like to be that friend who have made efforts to reach out but was not answered and they come back and say you're the one who haven't made any efforts.

Let them think what they want because chances are, they weren't meant to be your friends in the first place. It's okay. Be that friend who needs a little lovin reached out to you. If they can't understand that about you, you'll attract people who will!

Here we go, during this new moon and new year, make way for the new and out with old! And sometimes, that includes people!
