"ฝนเทียมไม่ใช่เรื่องลวงโลก แต่มีข้อจำกัดในการใช้" (แล้วก็ไม่ได้อันตรายต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมด้วยนะ)

เห็นเป็นดราม่ากันอยู่ในเพจการเมือง ที่มีใครก็ไม่รู้มาโคว้ตว่า "ฝนเทียมเป็นเรื่องลวงโลกไม่สามารถทำได้จริง ถ้าทำได้ คงทำไปแล้ว ไม่แล้งหนักมากอย่างตอนนี้" ... คือมันทำได้จริงนะครับ ! ไม่ใช่เรื่องลวงโลก และเขาก็พยายามทำกันอยู่ด้วย แต่มันมีข้อจำกัดมากในการทำ โดยเฉพาะในพื้นที่แล้ง ที่มีความชื้นอากาศต่ำ และไม่สามารถทำให้เกิดการก่อตัวของเมฆฝนได้ง่าย

การทำฝนเทียม เป็นกรรมวิธีทางวิทยาศาสตร์ ที่เลียนแบบการเกิดฝนในธรรมชาติ โดยต้องหาก้อนเมฆที่พอจะเกิดฝนได้ แล้วเร่งให้เกิดการควบแน่นของเมฆขึ้นด้วย 3 ขั้นตอน คือ ก่อกวน, เลี้ยงให้อ้วน, และโจมตี

กรรทำฝนเทียมมักทำใน 2 สภาวะ คือ "การทำฝนเมฆเย็น" เมื่อเมฆมีอุณหภูมิต่ำกว่า 0 องศาเซลเซียส และ "การทำฝนเมฆอุ่น" เมื่อเมฆมีอุณหภูมิสูงกว่า 0 องศาเซลเซียส (ทั้งสองสภาวะนี้ จะใช้สารเคมีต่างกัน)

สารเคมีที่ใช้ทำฝนเทียมนั้นมีหลายอย่าง ถ้าเป็นสารเคมีประเภททำให้อุณหภูมิสูงขึ้น ก็ได้แก่ แคลเซียมคาร์ไบด์ แคลเซียมคลอไรด์ แคลเซียมออกไซด์ ส่วนสารเคมีประเภททำให้อุณหภูมิต่ำลง จะได้แก่ ยูเรีย แอมโมเนียไนเตรด น้ำแข็งแห้ง ส่วนสารเคมีที่ทำหน้าที่ดูดซับความชื้น ได้แก่ เกลือ เป็นต้น

การทำฝนเทียมนั้น ได้รับการคิดค้น พัฒนา และนำมาใช้กันในต่างประเทศ มาตั้งแต่่ปี ค.ศ. 1946 แล้ว และมีการนำไปใช้ประโยชน์อย่างหลากหลาย เช่น การเกษตร ดับไฟป่า หรือกระทั่งเพื่อป้องกันการตกของฝนในวันที่กำหนด เช่นในโอลิมปิกฤดูร้อน 2008 ที่ประเทศจีน

สำหรับประเทศไทยเรานั้นมีหน่วยปฏิบัติการฝนหลวง ซึ่งมีที่ตั้งอยู่ในหลายจังหวัดทั่วประเทศ และได้พยายามขึ้นบินทำฝนเทียมเป็นประจำอยู่แล้ว ทุกปี แต่อุปสรรคที่สำคัญก็คือเรื่องของสภาพอากาศ ที่อาจจะทำให้การสร้างฝนเทียมไม่ได้ผลหรือไม่เต็มประสิทธิภาพ ถ้าแห้งแล้งมากเกินไป ความชื้นต่ำเกินไป ลมแรงเกินไป ก็จะไม่สามารถทำให้เมฆก่อตัวได้

สรุปได้ว่า การที่ปีนี้แล้งจัดนั้น จะไปโทษแต่ว่าฝนเทียมเป็นเรื่องลวงโลกไม่ได้ เขาพยายามกันแล้ว มันอาจจะไม่สำเร็จเพียงพอต่อการเติมน้ำลงไปในแหล่งน้ำต่างๆ

แถมต่อด้วยเรื่อง "ผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม" ที่มีหลายคนเป็นห่วงว่า ฝนเทียมนั้นอาจมีการใช้สารซิลเวอร์ไอโอไดด์หรือเกลือไอโอดีนของโลหะเงิน แล้วพอตกลงมาสู่พื้นดินจะเป็นอันตรายหรือเป็นพิษต่อสิ่งมีชีวิตด้านล่างนั้น .. ผลการวิจัยในปัจจุบันจากหลายๆองค์กร และโดยเฉพาะของ The Weather Modification Association (WMA) ยืนยันว่า ไม่เคยมีรายงานพบผลกระทบที่เป็นอันตรายต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมจากกระบวนการทำฝนเทียมด้วยการใช้สารซิลเวอร์ไอโอไดด์นี้แต่อย่างไรครับ

昨天，在美國紐約大都會藝術博物館慈善晚會「Met Gala」的紅毯上，英國女星艾瑪華森（Emma Watson）身著一套由回收寶特瓶製成的禮服。
小細節的部分，如拉鍊是用回收金屬物所製成，而內襯的緊身胸衣也是用有機棉所織成。

Thank you Calvin Klein & Eco Age for collaborating with me and creating the most amazing gown. I am proud to say it is truly sustainable and represents a connection between myself and all the people in the supply chain who played a role in creating it.

The body of the gown is crafted from three different fabrics, all woven from yarns made from recycled plastic bottles (!). Plastic is one of the biggest pollutants on the planet. Being able to repurpose this waste and incorporate it into my gown for the #MetGala proves the power that creativity, technology and fashion can have by working together.

Each and every part of this beautiful gown has been produced with sustainability in mind, even the components that you can’t see. The zippers on the gown are made from recycled materials and the inner bustier has been crafted from organic cotton. Conventional cotton is one of the highest impact crops, using more chemicals than any other crop in the world. Organic cotton on the other hand, is grown without the use of the most harmful chemicals and is therefore better for the environment and people working with cotton. The organic silk used in the lining of my gown is certified to a standard that guarantees the highest environmental and social standards throughout production. It is my intention to repurpose elements of the gown for future use. The trousers can be worn on their own, as can the bustier, the train can be used for a future red carpet look… I’m looking forward to experimenting with this. Truly beautiful things should be worn again and again and again. #30wears

I want to share this daily remedy that has been working amazingly well for me. I am so thankful for it and I am so excited to share it with you guys. I am a little nervous about this video though because I show some pretty horrific pictures of a skin reaction that I had not long ago. But ahh well... sometimes, poo happens lol!

During my skin reaction, I had to cleanse my face with oatmeal since the chemicals from my cleansers were aggravating my skin even more. Now that my skin has recovered, I STILL clean my face with oatmeal. Why? I have seen the benefits and I find that the more I use it, the better the condition of my skin has become.

Do you know that oatmeal is an incredible cleanser for the skin? It has the ability to relieve itchiness, redness, dryness and minor irritations. It absorbs and removes dirt & impurities whilst exfoliating the skin gently without all the harmful chemicals (found in a lot of our skincare products). It also helps the skin to fight against free radicals because it's so abundant in anti-oxidants. Result? Smoother, clearer and brighter skin without the $$$
 Whilst rinsing the face, I can already feel my skin feeling silkier. My face looked glowy, radiant and smooth. I can't actually explain how much I love this remedy so hopefully you guys can see the results yourself through pictures. Both oatmeal AND yogurt has saved my skin many times. Unlike a lot of cleansers, this won't dry out your face or irritate your skin. It works wonders! My skin has thanked me visually.

I really hope you guys find this video helpful. I wish somebody told me this remedy earlier. I felt like I raved so much about natural yogurt that I kind of neglected how amazing the oatmeal cleanser was. I recommend everybody (who isn't allergic to oats) to try this for sure.
