《明天》歌詞靈感來自詩安母親所提供的《穆桂英掛帥》故事為典故，並引用京劇大師梅蘭芳所創作的版本，在由王媽媽獻聲唱出『想當年桃花馬上威風凜凜，敵血飛濺石榴裙』的豪情萬丈下，以中國傳統戲曲音階與西洋 R&B 轉音唱法結合在一起，加上方大同在間奏與尾奏神來一筆的電吉他 solo，彈出一種蒼茫寂寥的磅礡氣勢，詩安與媽媽母女合唱的歌聲便完美融合出一種既古典又現代的全新境界層次。
《明天》雖然引用的是北宋楊門女將的故事，實際卻不單獨只想臨摹古代女性巾幗英雄不讓鬚眉的處境，現代職場生活中也有許多人（無論男女）為了事業不得不犧牲家庭生活，為了能給親人未來更好的生活不得不放棄當下的相處時光，《明天》唱的正是那種取捨掙扎的心境，還有某種事到臨頭義無反顧捨我其誰的責任承擔氣魄胸襟，那種對愛人的情感羈絆本就是橫亙古今不受時空性別限制的，《明天》只不過用了更文學典雅的包裝，但希望同樣能夠引起所有聽者感同身受的共鳴。
