【#生命故事】禱告戰勝疾病，艾薇兒推新曲唱出患病心聲

睽違五年艾薇兒即將推出新曲〈Head Above Water〉（不再沈淪）。向粉絲袒露患病心聲，2014 年艾薇兒罹患了「萊姆病」，萊姆患者會全身無力、無法移動，但當時的醫界對萊姆病一直找不到病原，讓艾薇兒跟醫生都束手無策。

艾薇兒形容患病的痛苦，像是溺水一樣難以呼吸，長期臥病在床的她，因著過去基督信仰的經歷，決定再次打開心向神求告：「神啊，讓我的頭抬起露出水面吧！」，這句禱告詞成為這首歌的泉源，如今神透過音樂醫治她，讓她對治癒後的生命發展充滿期待，也用自己的見證，鼓勵歌迷及病友，在絕望中透過禱告仍有盼望。
