วันนี้อดัมพาทุกคนมาที่เขื่อนภูมิพลในจังหวัดตาก !!
เห็นอะไรที่อยู่ข้างหลังผมไหมครับ นี่!! จักรยานใหญ่ยักษ์

ซึ่งคำว่า giant ที่แปลว่ายักษ์ หรือ ใหญ่ยักษ์
ก็ไม่ได้ออกเสียงว่า ไจแอ้น
แต่ออกเสียงว่า จ้าย เหยิ่นทฺ นั่นเองครับ
แล้วทำไมที่นี่ต้องมีจักรยานใหญ่ยักษ์อย่างนี้ ??
ก็เพราะว่าที่นี่คือสถานที่จัดการแข่งขันจักรยาน “เขื่อนภูมิพล เสือภูเขานานาชาติ" โดยปีนี้จะจัดขึ้นเป็นครั้งที่ 18 แล้ว ถือเป็นกิจกรรมสำคัญประจำปีของจังหวัดตาก ที่ช่วยดึงดูด และกระตุ้นการท่องเที่ยวให้มีความคึกคักมากขึ้นทุกปี ซึ่งสำหรับปีนี้ งานจะถูกจัดขึ้นในวันที่ 24-25 สิงหาคม
The 18th annual Bhumibol Dam International Mountain Bike Championship will be held on August 24th and 25th.
มีนักปั่นและนักท่องเที่ยวจากทั่วโลกมางานนี้ทุกปีเพราะเส้นทางภายในเขื่อนภูมิพล
นอกจากจะท้าทายแล้ว ยังมีทัศนียภาพที่สวยงามมากอีกด้วย
ที่นี่เหมาะมากสำหรับการแข่งขันปั่นจักรยาน
Bhumibol Dam is the perfect place for the mountain bike competition because it’s one of Thailand’s most scenic dams.
ซึ่งคำว่า scenic (adj.) แปลว่า มีทิวทัศน์สวยงาม
น่าจะเคยได้ยินคำว่า scene (n.) ที่แปลว่า ฉาก
พอเปลี่ยนเป็น scenic ก็จะหมายถึงมีฉากสวยงามเยอะหรือมีทัศนียภาพสวยงามนั่นเองครับ
เขื่อนภูมิพล ของ การไฟฟ้าฝ่ายผลิตแห่งประเทศไทย หรือ กฟผ. เป็นโรงไฟฟ้าพลังน้ำ ตั้งอยู่ที่ อำเภอสามเงา จังหวัดตาก เป็นเขื่อนคอนกรีตโค้งเพียงแห่งเดียวของประเทศไทย ใหญ่และสูงที่สุดในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้

ซึ่งคำว่า arch (n.) ก็คือ โครงสร้างที่มีรูปโค้ง
เขื่อนภูมิพลเดิมชื่อ “เขื่อนยันฮี” ก่อนที่ในหลวง รัชกาลที่ 9 จะทรงพระราชทานนามว่า “เขื่อนภูมิพล” ในปี พ.ศ. 2500 และได้ทรงประกอบพิธีเปิดเขื่อนอย่างเป็นทางการในปี พ.ศ. 2507
บริเวณภายในเขื่อนภูมิพล ก็ยังมีสถานที่ให้มาเที่ยวพักผ่อนชมธรรมชาติอันสวยงามได้อีกด้วย อย่างเช่นสะพานปิงพิพรรธน์ที่ทอดข้ามแม่น้ำปิง

นอกจากนี้ ยังมีเขื่อนแม่ปิงตอนล่าง เขื่อนขนาดเล็กที่กักเก็บน้ำจากการปล่อยของเขื่อนภูมิพลเพื่อสูบกลับ และกักเก็บไว้รอการระบายต่อไป ตามความต้องการของประชาชน
สวนน้ำพระทัย ที่มีประติมากรรม สําริด และธารน้ำพุ เป็นจุดเด่นและยังมีสวนดอกไม้ที่ในหลวงรัชกาลที่ 9 และรัชกาลที่ 10 ได้ทรงปลูกต้นสักไว้ เมื่อครั้งที่เสด็จพระราชดำเนินมาประทับแรมที่เขื่อน
เห็นไหมครับว่าเขื่อนและโรงไฟฟ้า นอกจากผลิตไฟฟ้าแล้ว ยังสามารถใช้เป็นสถานที่จัดการแข่งขันกีฬาและท่องเที่ยวพักผ่อนหย่อนใจได้อีกด้วย ส่วนใครพร้อมที่จะมาผจญภัย ปั่นจักรยาน ท่ามกลางป่าเขาลำเนาไพร ขอเชิญมาที่นี่เลยนะครับ

Play alone or max 4 in Multi Player mode online. Do a challenge together or just mess everything up and tear your friends to shreds.

- Repeat, play old man
You've played as an old man. Repeat it again.

- Infinite Interactions
Grab, catch and interact with many objects. Everything from giant trout, trampolin, electric wire, and fireworks. This is just part of Bazuka, Axe, Trombone, Jet Pack. Well, yes, these can be used to cause people pain or serious injury.

The city will be packed with detailed environments full of secrets and secret routes encouraging to explore and experiment crazy to see how the results come.
