AIT經濟組副組長邵藹帝恭喜「鬼島之音」推出全台第一部紀錄片式Podcast《一年的告白》。《一年的告白》講述台裔美籍移民二代Doreen Wang及其母親Mish Liang Hsu在1980年代早期移民到美國追尋美國夢的故事，片中也細膩刻劃女兒與罹癌末期的母親，重新修復母女關係的對話。本片由鬼島之音監製吳怡慈 Emily Wu及其團隊所製作，吳怡慈在美國留學工作超過10年，日前返台創立「鬼島之音」Podcast節目，透過節目呈現台裔美籍人士和在美台灣人的聲音及觀點。《一年的告白》影像預告於5月11日釋出，五月份也是美國亞太裔傳統月，AIT經濟組副組長邵藹帝很榮幸能在五月與鬼島之音團隊共同參加預覽活動，鬼島之音團隊許多成員為曾待過美國的台裔美籍和台灣人，他們都對美台共享的價值深感驕傲。預吿首播中文版請見：https://bit.ly/353aAOR
AIT’s Deputy Economic Chief Arati Shroff congratulates the virtual launch of the Dos Salidas podcast, which features Taiwanese American Doreen Wang and her mother Mish Liang Hsu’s story of immigrating to the United States in the early 1980s in pursuit of the American Dream and experience battling cancer. Dos Salidas is brought to Taiwan by female powerhouse and producer Emily Wu of Ghost Island Media, who spent more than a decade in the United States before coming back to Taiwan to kickstart Taiwan’s podcast community and curate voices and perspectives of Taiwanese Americans and Taiwanese living in America. The photos below are from the May 11 in person preview event of the podcast during Asian American Heritage month and feature Ms. Shroff with the Ghost Island Media production team of Taiwanese Americans and Taiwanese, many of whom spent time in the United States and are proud of the shared values between the United States and Taiwan.
