Dr Halina is now 13 weeks pregnant with twins .
I’m just thrilled , speechless and over the moon ...
It’s like DejaVu all over again .
We have always wanted a big family .
But carrying twins during pregnancy is totally high risk as we have experienced that before .
Double Nauseous
Double Vomiting
Double Bloating
Double Craving
Double Bleeding - which she did
It was tough seeing Dr Halina undergoing through her 1st Trimester and still working as frontliners treating Covid patients and she truly deserve my utmost respect .
The only thing I could do is to gain weight with her which is part of the deal - Haha

Well, I guess there’s no way to avoid it.
妊辰紋. 好討厭人的妊辰紋! 我之前平平漂亮的腹肌(我自己覺得哈哈!)現在永遠會有“媽媽的痕跡”了。懷孕的戰疤. 不管要不要的”媽咪刺青“ (聽說,90%的媽咪們多多少少都會有這個恨極)
Stretch marks. Yup. My previously smooth and beautiful abs (if I don’t mind saying so myself) now have the mark of motherhood. The pregnancy battle scar. The telltale sign of pregnancy. The “tattoo” we get, like it or not (at least for about 90% of pregnant women).
我覺得我還滿認真的為了避免妊辰紋該做的事:
I had been pretty good about doing all the things they say to do to avoid getting stretch marks:
Gain weight slowly 慢慢的增加體重
Eating as healthily as possible 吃很健康的食物
Drink lots of water 喝很多水
Use oils and lotions regularly to lather the stomach 抹乳液或是妊辰紋油
Getting regular exercise 多運動
但.... 沒有用。 我肚子的妊辰紋來了,然後像很煩人的客人來了就再也不會離開。那既然現在有了,我去查了一下到底為什麼我們都會有這些妊辰紋跑出來。 基本上是因為我們的皮膚的彈性因為成長的過程太快, 就跟不上。 基因跟種族都有很大得關係所以也許我們真的不要想太多。 抹乳液跟妊辰紋油會有幫助嗎?不知道。 但是擦完自己覺得我有在主動的做事(哈哈)而且,皮膚不乾油油的也不賴其實。有避免我這次長妊辰紋嗎? 沒有,我後期很明顯的在肚子跟也許看不到的地方長出來了。
But NOPE. Stretch marks still came over to say hi and are moving in like unwanted guests. Now that I have them, I had to look up what exactly is going on with my body. Stretch marks happen when your skin loses elasticity, most commonly when you gain too much weight, or grow too quickly. Genetics and race plays a big big role too. Does it hurt to rub on those creams and oils? Nope. But it makes me feel proactive to slather it on, and it also just feels darn good to have smooth skin. Did it stop me from getting this “gifts” from my baby? Nope. Now, I have stretch marks on my belly and probably in other areas I can’t see.
那, 這麼辦?其實,既然都有了, 乾脆驕傲的帶著它吧!不要把他們當成很醜的細紋。 我要盡量的戴著榮譽徽章! 我的人生都要改變了,永遠不會是一樣的,為什麼我會期待我的身體也要跟以前完全一模一樣呢? 現在就是要開始學會擁抱身體的自然改變,這些細紋,這些代表我要當媽媽的痕跡。。。 我知道不簡單(我也是愛漂亮的人啊!), 但是我們只能盡量。 而且從這個角度,你不覺得有一點點像一個可愛的柚子嗎?中秋節快樂! 哈哈! #愛自己 #愛你的身體 #愛每一個時段的自己 #愛的寶寶送你的痕跡
Well, there’s nothing left to do but to wear these marks proudly. Rather than see them as ugly, I’m going to try and wear them as a badge of honor! My LIFE is never going to be the same after giving birth to a baby, so why should I expect my BODY to be the same after giving birth…Time to embrace these lines and wrinkles... after all, from this angle, doesn’t it kind of look like I have a cute little Mid-Autumn Festival pomelo? #loveyourlines George Young

Question: Hi Jordan, everyday I spend 30 mins training my Abs for many months already but why my waist and belly still so big?
Answer: Doing hundreds or thousands of Crunches everyday won’t help you to burn fats, unless you do like 20,000+ reps of crunches nonstop! Then you'll burn like only 1 pound of fats but I think you'll break your neck and lower back after your training session.
Try to do something that that burn more calories like Weight-Lifting, Cardio training like Running or Bodyweight Circuit Training like 3-5 times a week.
Imo, the best and fastest way to trim your belly and love handle is to watch your food intake (sounds boring I know). Avoid all sugary beverages, stay away from oily foods and control your Carbs intake to nothing more than 2-3 servings a day (1 serving = 1 bowl). Eat good amount of Veggies and Protein like lean poultry and lean meats. They said Abs are made not only in the Gym but in the Kitchen... They are right.
You probably took many years-decades to gain those stubborn fats, you can't expect to get rid of them with just few weeks or few months of hardwork.

Please READ this box for more info. Best exercises to GAIN WEIGHT for skinny women. This workout plan is based on full body Compound Exercises. Compound exercises are those that involve more than one joint and muscle group. They are more efficient and effective for muscle growth.
Method:
10 exercises, 4 sets per exercises, 45 -- 60 seconds of rest in between sets.
Set 1 - Choose weight that will be manageable for 12 reps.
Set 2 - Increase the weight slightly to which you can only accomplish 10 reps.
Set 3 - Increase the weight even more to which you can only accomplish 8 reps.
Set 4 - For the final set, lift even heavier weight to reach failure at 6 reps.
Workout Schedule: Only 3 - 4 times weekly on alternate days.
*It is important to know that it is NOT in the gym you achieve growth, it is when you rest and recover. Hence, a full workout day should be followed by a rest day to assure full recovery and growth.
Workout Duration: No more than 60 minutes per session.
Progression: Perform these exercises for 4 - 6 weeks. As you progress, lift even heavier weights and increase to 5 or 6 sets per exercise.
Stick with it, stay focused and I trust you will start to see changes in your body. EAT A LOT, REST, WORKOUT and you will GROW. All the best! xx
