OMG! I came home from work and York was gardening in my backyard without me asking😲 My backyard has been a forest since I never go outside due to fair of poisonous creatures (yes, common fear for New Zealanders in Australia...)

其實我很怕澳洲的毒蟲，所以我房子買到現在從來沒整理過花園，冬天來就讓草長，夏天就讓它們熱死，根本是個自然生態圈☺ 我也不在外面曬衣服，都掛在室內自然乾... 所以我已經1.5年沒踏出後院了... 這次房子準備出租，本來想要請園丁來，結果York自己就動手弄了😢 只能說家中有男人真好啊～😚
你或許知道園藝治療，但你有聽過 #林園療癒（Forest-Gardening Therapy）的概念嗎？
林園療癒是以森林為主，園藝為輔的自然療癒方式。雙向林園療癒主要結合在線（On-line）和離線（Off-line）林園療癒方式，#在線 指的是 #本人親自到有提供林園療癒的場域，在半設計的環境中的進行五感的刺激和四肢的活動。
而 #離線 的方式讓五感的刺激在小空間實施。在都市中廣設離線林園療癒的場域（簡稱為氣霧療癒室），讓人可以享用模擬森林環境所得到衍生性森林的效益。例如結合 #3D立體佈景（視覺）、韓國世界創新發明大賽得獎之 #乾式擴香器（嗅覺）、#自然療癒飲品（味覺）、#自然原音呈現（聽覺）及 #松靜站立（觸覺）等五感體驗來達成。

Gardening has never been my forte but recently, the girls have taken a keen interest in growing plants and in wanting to encourage them to hone their green fingers, together with Papa, they've set up this mini garden in our home.
While they are the ones responsible for watering the plants and taking care of the garden, you can imagine my shock when the big girl told me one day "Mama, there are flies and worms and bugs on some of our plants and in the pots!" Oh dear. What could we possibly do to save our plants without harming the pests since I always tell the kids that every life matters?
Thanks to @ONEV.sg, there is now a natural and organic way to deal with this problem. We have been using the Plant Pest Repellent which is designed to repel and not kill the pests. Yup, shoo pests, shoo! The main ingredient is Wood Vinegar which diffuses a burnt wood smell that reminds plant pest of forest fires, sending these pests scuttling.
Another active component is the Azadirachtin in Neem Oil which acts as a hormone disruptor and is effective in getting plants pests to stop their destruction. It makes me relieved knowing that the repellent is free of chemicals and non-toxic which means the kids can handle it safely on their own too.
I have to say our garden is looking better and pest-free these days and hopefully, the girls will keep up with their motivation to take good care of it. Way to go, my girls!
