台中國家歌劇院 National Taichung Theater, Taichung, Taiwan

難得回到故鄉來探望好友，順路來看看落成不久的國家歌劇院。這個劇院外觀的確出色，一反台灣都會區給人「水泥叢林」的印象。那些凹凹凸凸，彎彎曲曲的線條貫穿了整個建築。附近佔地寬廣，儼然像是歐洲級別的都會。

This was a rare occasion for me to return to my hometown to visit friends. I also visited the National Taichung Theater while I was nearby. This theater is indeed outstanding with the opposite look of a concrete jungle in Taiwan. Those artistic curves and inward surface are the main feature throughout the entire building. With the large space around the theater, it makes Taichung an European-look metropolitan.

燈光也是歌劇院設計的重點。室內光源讓人非常的舒服，有種仿自然光的效果，而非昏暗。入夜後的燈光效果則會看來更加明顯。

Lighting is another focus of the Theater which makes people feel comfortable. The lighting imitates the day light instead of a dim theatrical look. The lighting effect becomes stronger at night.

在劇院的一角，燈光配合塑形創造出與台中地緣密切的雪山山脈。另外還有仿日光的天井與強調花飾的櫃檯。

The light in an enclave of the theater with a embossed work creates the mountain lines of Xueshang mountains in Taiwan. There are a sky light illuminated with fluorescent lights on the second floor as well as flowery vines-themed counters.

雖然這劇院因為室內設計未考量到音樂演出的效果，而導致只能演出對聲響不講究的演出，我還是覺得劇院把民眾請入了劇院，哪怕只是來看一場普通音樂演出也好。

Due to the lack of consideration on the acoustic design, the Theater still attracted many citizens to have a look even though they might be there for an ordinary musical performance.

Tested 3bulbs and from the test two are truly bright but one is overal winner as it uses less wattage while being s,all but also being very bright.

T&T: 6500lm 105w output 525w from China
Illumina: 5040lm 72w output 360w from Turkey
Lights On: 4400lm 72w output 660w from Turkey

However I don't think the numbers are all correct. Interesting is on the T&T box says there is an even stronger bulb with 150w which should produce 9800lm but have to test it to see it.
