【父親節】古語有云,「百善以孝為先」。 到了今天,我才真正體會這句話的意思。 明山和明詩長大後,令我和外子感到恩慰的,不是他們的學業成績、收入或社會地位等,而是他們對別人的關顧。
每當我們身體稍有不適,無論他們有多麼忙碌,都會趕緊關顧我們的身體情況。 又或每當他們知道我們在生活上有什麼需要時,他們都會伸出援手。
早前,祖父身體不適,明山立即陪伴他住醫院看急診,直至深夜。 往後,也經常致電問候及於下班後,往祖父家探望他。
因我和外子一向節儉,很少外出用膳。為了這緣故,明詩特意申請了附屬卡給我們,她說,「希望我們辛勞一生、也得享受一下!」
這些事情,都叫我和外子覺得很感動!
除此以外,我發現他們不僅對父母是這樣,他們對周遭的人和物:包括他們的朋友、傭人、小狗….他們都願意出錢出力,不吝嗇地照顧有需要的人和物!
我從生活體驗,真正的恍然大悟!原來有孝心的人,一般都擁有一種高情操的情商。是對於周遭的人和物的遭遇,有着身同感受的體會,因而作出相應行動。
掉轉來看會讓人更易明白。若一個人對於周遭的人沒有身同感受的感應,無論是他的朋友、親人、甚至是父母,他都沒有一種同理心,更遑論回饋的行動!
家長若希望子女將來有孝心,首要做的就是培育他們的子女成為一個高情商的人。 教導他們要關顧周遭的人,而不是所謂「執輸行頭慘過敗家」的這些教法。
更重要的是以身作則。子女看到你們怎樣對待別人,包括父母、親人、朋友,亦都會潛移默化地被你們影響。這就是所謂的「身教」了!
在此,謹祝你們父親節快樂,亦祝福你們的子女將來成為一些高情商、有情有義的下一代!

【材料】
板チョコ 2枚
バター 70g
砂糖 20g
練乳 10g
卵 2個
【手順】
1.チョコとバターを溶かします
2.砂糖と練乳を加えて混ぜます
3.卵を加えてよくかき混ぜます
4.溶いてから加えるとなお良しです
5.170度で予熱したオーブンで25分ほど加熱します
6.表面が焼けてるのを確認したら粗熱をとり、冷蔵庫で休ませます
7.取り出して完成です
Let’s make Gateaux Chocolate Cake easily just by mixing! The rich flavor of chocolate is fascinating! It is delicious so that you can’t stop eating!
*Ingredients*
2 chocolate bars
70g butter
20g sugar
10g condensed milk
2 eggs
*Recipe*
1 Melt chocolate and butter using hot air of the hair drier.
2 Add sugar and condensed milk, and mix together.
3 Add beaten eggs and blend well.
4 Pour the dough into the cake tin, and bake in a preheated oven (170℃) for 25 minutes.
5 Check baked conditions, and cool it down. Then chill in a refrigerator until set.
6 Remove the cake from the tin and sprinkle cocoa powder. Have a good tea time!

Zeppole (zeppoli) is a fried choux pastry traditionally eaten on March 19th, which is St. Joseph Day (la festa di San Giuseppe), also father's day in Italy.
Like cream puffs, it is usually filled with custard cream but I used mascarpone cheese like tiramisu :D
Father's day in Japan is celebrated on the 3rd Sunday in June, but I made zeppole for a change. hehe
I hope you like this idea!

Zeppole
Difficulty: Medium
Time: 1hr
Number of servings: 20
Ingredients:
((choux pastry))
125ml water
75g (2.7oz.) unsalted butter
a pinch of salt & sugar
100g (3.5oz.) cake flour
3 eggs *room temperature
((filling))
100g (3.5oz.) mascarpone cheese
60ml heavy whipping cream
3 tbsp. fresh strawberry jam
((decoration))
fresh strawberries
powdered sugar
Directions:
((choux pastry))
1. Put water, butter, salt, and sugar in a pan and bring to a boil.
2. Remove the pan from the heat and sift in the flour all at once. Then mix well with a wooden spatula or spoon until smooth.
3. Put on the heat again and stir with a wooden spatula or spoon until the mixture forms a ball. When you see the pan coated with a thin film of the batter, stop the heat and transfer the batter to a bowl.
4. Add beaten eggs little by little and mix well.
5. Cut parchment paper into 20 3-inch squares. Transfer the batter to a pastry bag fitted with a star tip, and pipe 2-inch rings onto the parchment papers. Pop them in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes to set.
6. Deep fry in oil at 320F (160C), 3-4 pieces at a time, for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden. Let cool completely.
((filling))
1. Beat heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
2. Mix 1., mascarpone cheese, and fresh strawberry jam in a bowl.
3. Transfer the cream to a pastry bag fitted with a star tip, and pipe it onto the choux pastries.
((decoration))
1. Top with strawberries (cut into heart shape if you like) and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
2. Refrigerate and serve cold.
You can bake them:
Spray some water and bake at 392F (200C) for 20 min.

This is my favorite childhood comfort food: high-fiber low-calorie apple cake.
I used to bake this with my mom when I was small. It is very easy! Even kids can make :)
Actually, original recipe (by Mademoiselle Ikuko) uses 2 apples but my mom always uses 1 apple and 1 banana :) also my mom uses more sugar (80g=2.8oz.) and more oil (100ml).

Yogurt Pomme Pomme (Easy Apple Cake)
Difficulty: Very Easy
Time: 45min
Number of servings: 20cm (8inch) pie dish
Ingredients:
1 apple
1 banana
1 tbsp. lemon juice
200ml plain yogurt (unsweetened)
5 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. cooking oil (optional**)
2 eggs
100g (3.5oz.) cake flour *all purpose flour may work
1 tsp. baking powder
butter
cake flour
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 200C (392F). Butter and flour the 20cm (8inch) pie dish.
2. Slice apple and banana, then coat them with lemon juice to avoid discoloration and set aside.
3. In a large bowl, mix eggs, sugar and cooking oil (optional**). Then add plain yogurt and mix until smooth.
4. Sift in cake flour and baking powder and mix well.
5. Pour half of the mixture in the dish, arrange sliced apples and bananas on the mixture, pour the remaining mixture over the fruits.
6. Bake at 200C (392F) for 30 minutes, or until lightly browned. You can either eat hot, at room temperature, or cold.
**You can cook without cooking oil to cut calories!
You can also use pineapple, prune, raisin, pear, or any other high fiber fruits!
