Just look at that long queue up to the summit of Mount Everest.
This viral photo shows serious overcrowding during a deadly climbing season.
So far this year, at least nine climbers have died while attempting to conquer the world's highest mountain -- including a British mountaineer who warned of overcrowding at the summit in his last social media post.
Overcrowding, as well as bad weather and the lack of experience among some climbers have all been cited as factors behind the deaths.
