來介紹一位早逝的披頭(The Beatles), 他在樂團中彈奏吉他, 在這個樂團奠基闖蕩出名號的階段就已經是要角, 很早就與Paul McCartney熟識, 披頭解散之後仍持續有非常成功的演藝事業, 這個音樂人有過兩段轟轟烈烈的婚姻, 家人被知名英國樂手當作題材寫出膾炙人口的傳世之作, 然後也曾經被狂熱的信眾無情的攻擊, 但他不是您以為的John Lennon, 而是在19年前的今天, 也就是2001年11月28日辭世的George Harrison.

大家都知道披頭四的Hey Jude是Paul McCartney為John Lennon第一段婚姻所生的Julian Lennon所寫的傑作, 而George Harrison的第一位配偶Pattie Boyd可也一樣是創作名曲的謬思女神, Eric Clapton的神作Layla及Wonderful Tonight都是為了她而誕生的, 而George Harrison在1999年被一名患有精神分裂症的Michael Abram持刀攻擊, 他身中四十多刀後但所幸存活, 至於有相同命運的John Lennon就沒那沒那麼好運了, 他在1980年12月8日被一名據稱患有精神病的Mark David Chapman槍擊, John Lennon沒能活下來, 成為最早過世的披頭成員.
然而今天的主角仍是George Harrison, 謹於他老人家忌日的19周年遙祝這位音樂傳奇, 他終於回到My Sweet Load的身邊應該是更為平安喜樂.

Eric Clapton最著名的歌之一，哀悼他1991年從飯店53樓陽台跌落身亡，只活了四歲的兒子Conor。
總覺得大家對著這首歌歡呼是件很奇怪的事。但轉念一想，就當成彼此慶幸我們仍然擁有的吧。
Eric Clapton從2001年巡演結束之後就封印了這首歌，十多年來只在2003年唱過一次。他說到不再唱的原因，是感受不到當年寫這首歌的失落傷痛了：

"I didn't feel the loss anymore, which is so much a part of performing those songs. I really have to connect with the feelings that were there when I wrote them. They're kind of gone and I really don't want them to come back, particularly. My life is different now. They probably just need a rest and maybe I'll introduce them for a much more detached point of view."

昨夜在武道館的版本，比影片版更清簡一些，唱的時候他始終閉著眼，那確實是和二十年前截然不同的氣場，卻益發細膩、動人。他確實找到了"more detached point of view"，我以為那是很好的。

7月份我選播咗Led Zeppelin 2007年倫敦O2 Arena的Celebration Day同兩場Rolling Stones嘅經典演唱會1969,結他手Brian Jones去世,弟一場在美國嘅concert與及45年之後重返Hyde Park的十萬人演出,the band is still in top form!!!
