• 中央研究院基因體研究中心特聘研究員(現職)、副總統(2016-2020) 、中央研究院副院長(2011-2015) 、衛生署署長(2003-2005)
• 抗疫經驗：國際知名流行病學與公共衛生學者。2003年SARS期間，陳建仁出任衛生署署長，帶領台灣走過 SARS 風暴。COVID-19期間，陳建仁運用影響力與學術專長，提供重要的防疫策略建議與方向。
• 美國經驗：美國國家科學院海外院士(2017) 、美國國家衛生研究院Fogarty國際研究獎(1989) 、美國約翰霍普金斯大學流行病學博士(1982)

• Career highlights: Distinguished Research Fellow of Genomics Research Center, Academia Sinica (2020); Former Vice President (2016-2020); Former Vice President of Academia Sinica (2011-2015); Minister, Department of Health (2003-2005)
• Role in combatting COVID-19: Chen Chien-Jen is an expert in public health and epidemiology. He also served as Minister of Health during the SARS outbreak in 2003. He has applied that crucial experience to combatting COVID-19.
• U.S. Experience: Foreign Associate, National Academy of Sciences, USA (2017); Fogarty International Research Fellowship, U.S. National Institute of Health (1989); Sc.D., Department of Epidemiology, School of Hygiene and Public Health, Johns Hopkins University (1982)
