ยังไงลองไปดูภาพประกอปกันหน่อยก็ได้นะ ว่าชอบแบบไหน แล้วก็อย่ารอช้า จองตั๋ว ไปๆๆๆๆๆ เค้าว่ากันว่า ถ้ามัวแต่ลังเล เอ๊ะจะไปดีไหม จะลำบากไหม จะสวยไหม จะดีเหมือนรูปมั้ยนะ จะ.... บลาๆ มันก็จะไม่ได้ไปซักที ถ้าสงสัยมากนักว่ามันจะเป็นแบบที่เค้าพูดกันรึป่าว ทำไมไม่ลองไปสัมผัสด้วยตัวเองซักครั้งหละ แล้วจะพบว่า มันคุ้มจริงๆ
อ้อๆๆแล้วก่อนจะไป อย่าลืมเตรียมตัว เตรียมใจ และเตรียมอุปกรณ์คู่กายของคุณให้พร้อม แวะมาหาเราก่อนได้ ครบเครื่องเรื่องเที่ยวมากๆ

ผลกระทบมาจากเหตุการณ์ 9/11 ผสมช่วงที่เทคโนโลยีเริ่มมีการพัฒนาแบบก้าวกระโดด จนกลายเป็นพล็อตหนังบล็อกบัสเตอร์ที่น่าสนใจ แถมยังใช้อิทธิพลจากหนังของอัลเฟร็ด ฮิตช์ค็อก อย่าง North by Northwest และ The Man Who Knew Too Much อีกด้วย

Eagle Eye เล่าเรื่องของ 'เจอรี่' (Shia LaBeouf) และ 'เรเชล' (Michelle Monaghan) ทั้งสองถูกบังคับให้ทำตามคำสั่งลึกลับจากโทรศัพท์ไม่ทราบต้นสาย ซึ่งเปิดเผยภายหลังว่าเป็นฝีมือของเทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์กระทำการโดยอิสระอันเนื่องมาจากปธน.สร้างผลกระทบจากคำสั่งโจมตีในตะวันออกกลาง

สิ่งที่น่าสนใจสำหรับโลกภาพยนตร์ในช่วงกลางยุค 2000's ก็คือการที่รัฐบาลสหรัฐอเมริกาประกาศทำสงครามในพื้นที่ตะวันออกกลางซึ่งเป็นผลกระทบมาจากเหตุการณ์ 9/11 เราจึงจะได้เห็นขบวนพาเหรดหนังผลกระทบจากสงครามในตะวันออกกลางที่มีต่อทหารและพลเรือนชาวอเมริกัน เช่น Body of Lies, The Kingdom, In the Valley of Elah, Syriana, Zero Dark Thirty, The Hurt Locker, The Messenger, Green Zone เป็นต้น

รวมถึงช่วงกลางยุค 2000's เป็นช่วงที่เทคโนโลยีเริ่มมีการพัฒนาแบบก้าวกระโดดจนเริ่มมีหนังเกี่ยวกับเหรียญสองด้านของเทคโนโลยีเช่น I Robot, Wall-E, Transcendence ซึ่งต้องขอชมเชย Eagle Eye ในแง่ความทะเยอทะยานที่หยิบประเด็นแห่งทศวรรษทั้งสองประเด็นมารวมอยู่ในหนังเรื่องเดียวกัน และพล็อตแบบนี้สามารถทำเป็นหนัง hard sci-fi หนัก ๆ ก็ได้ แต่การได้เห็นพล็อตแบบนี้เป็นหนัง blockbuster/popcorn movies มันก็ดีในแง่ที่ว่าสามารถเข้าถึงคนดูวงกว้างได้มากกว่า

พูดถึงบทหนังกันก่อนเลยครับ ผมชอบสเกลและพล็อตหนังมากเลยนะ มันมีอะไรน่าสนใจสามารถนำไปต่อยอดถกเถียงกันได้หลายประเด็น อย่างเช่น ความน่ากลัวของโลกดิจิตอล, มนุษย์พึ่งพาเทคโนโลยีมากเกินไป, การโจมตีระบบเครือข่ายของโจรไซเบอร์ ซึ่งบางทีมันก็ชวนให้เราหาจุดกึ่งกลางรักษาสมดุลของระบบอนาล็อกกับดิจิตอล แต่บทหนังสเกลใหญ่แบบนี้เมื่อนำมาทำเป็นหนังแนวแอ็คชั่นทริลเลอร์เดินเรื่องอย่างรวดเร็ว บางครั้งก็มีจุดแหม่งชวนสงสัยว่าทำไมขั้นตอนถึงยุ่งยาก ทำไมปัญญาประดิษฐ์ล้ำสมัยกลับไม่สามารถทำอะไรง่าย ๆ บางอย่างเช่นแบ๊กอัพข้อมูลผู้ออกคำสั่ง หรือแม้กระทั่งปัญญาประดิษฐ์พังง่ายเหลือเกิน ยังไม่พูดถึงการแต่งชุดตำรวจก็สามารถเข้าถึงงานได้อย่างง่ายดาย อย่างไรก็ตามด้วยความสนุกของหนังก็ทำให้เรามองข้ามจุดเหล่านี้ไปได้

ฉากต่าง ๆ ในหนังได้อิทธิพลมาจากหนังคลาสสิกของ Alfred Hitchcock อย่างน้อยสองเรื่องคือ
1) คอนเซ็ปต์การทำฉากไล่ล่ากลางทุ่งกว้างใน North by Northwest ฉากนี้คือภาพไร่กว้างสุดลูกหูลูกตาที่เหมือนจะไม่มีอันตรายใด ๆ มาทำร้ายพระเอกของเรื่อง แต่แล้วก็มีเครื่องบินขนาดเล็กมาไล่โฉบพระเอกของเรา ซึ่ง Eagle Eye ก็หยิบยืมคอนเซปของฉากนี้มาใช้ในฉากที่สองตัวละครนำเดินอยู่กลางที่ดินกว้างขนานข้างทางด้วยเสาไฟฟ้าแรงสูง และ 2) การแสดงดนตรีในฉากจบได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจาก The Man Who Knew Too Much เป็นฉากที่ตัวร้ายจะต้องลงมือก่อเหตุฆาตกรรมระหว่างการแสดงโอเปร่าโดยจะลงมือตามจังหวะการแสดงที่ได้ตระเตรียมไว้คือรอวาทยากรให้จังหวะเล่นฉาบ มือปืนก็จะใช้เสียงฉาบกลบเสียงปืนครับ ซึ่งใน Eagle Eye ได้นำฉากคลาสสิกฉากนี้มาดัดแปลงให้เป็นรอจังหวะโน้ตสั่งระเบิดทำงาน
