It may sound like a hassle, but it only takes a couple minutes (as long as you have two people). More than half of adult cats have some form of dental disease!! It can eventually lead to pain, infection, and your cat losing teeth! If your cat accidentally breaks a canine, make sure to take them to the vet because the dental pulp inside is often exposed, which is very painful and can eventually lead to infection.

牙醫師好賺嗎？醫師收入受健保壓縮，自費植牙、假牙、牙套、牙齒矯正等市場競爭激烈飽和，年輕牙醫面臨巨大挑戰，沒有工作熱誠難做到頂尖。
根據官方統計資料，臺灣牙醫師平均收入月薪15萬。但在健保越來越窮的窘境下，除非發展高端自費療程，譬如植牙dental implant、全瓷冠Full ceramic crown、瓷貼片porcelain Veneer、3D齒雕、假牙牙套（crown and bridge）、矯正牙套（braces）、隱形矯正如Invisalign、高階牙周手術periodontal surgery、困難根管治療endodontic treatment等等，否則牙醫的收入會越來越低。即使想要發展自費市場，難度也在提高。因現在牙醫診所滿街開，牙醫師越來越夯，越來越難考進牙醫系窄門，出來的新醫師都是智商高超的學霸，所以面臨的競爭對手也越來越強，已經從以前的藍海，慢慢變成紅海市場，絕對要多學習、精進自己的技術，才不會落後別人。另外新進醫師也不要氣餒，覺得比自己還不聰明的老牙醫佔了很多資源，而是要利用自己的強項，包括資料搜尋、自我學習的能力、對網路的熟悉度、利用社群媒體建立自己的品牌形象，還是非常有機會發展出自己的利基市場，超越以前的牙醫師！
臉書執行長馬克佐克伯有一個牙醫爸爸，小兒科醫師媽媽，但他父母從沒有push自己的小孩一定要從醫，而是讓佐克伯作自己擅長與喜歡的事：寫電腦程式。所以要作自己喜歡的工作，而不是追逐時下熱門的工作，才真得能做到頂尖，且在工作中得到成就感和自我實現
